Nice gameplay, adds tougher variations of enemies, and even some new ones
Not directly related to Half Life but more so one of its designers; Viktor Antonov.
His work is incredible, wish I could see more of his stuff.
I mean, just looking at this trailer, you can tell that Viktor worked on this. The train in one of the scenes even looks like the Razor train from HL2!

Well turns out it broke once for me, when I was using it to get back, it suddenly jolted backward, then onwards, then backwards (all of those mid-way, didn't happen during either stops) and then it gibbed me. It was so absurd I couldn't help but laugh at it.

Either these are doorframes into Narnia or there was some hiccups with the decals.

It was literally bulletproof, emptied too many pistol shots on it before I approached it, ducked under its leap and whacked it. Guess industrial-grade crowbar does it better than 9mm rounds.

I tried to correct the man's claim with a healthy dose of SMG nade, but something funny happened.

I remember an ad for some school textbook about computers, it was like "You kid is playing computer games too much? Well hurrdurr buy him a textbook and make his time with the computers useful". The thing is, when it showed a kid playing his computer, scenes from that trailer were used. I was so fucking jelaous of that kid, he was playing Black Mesa back in 2010.

The new Black Mesa shotgun model is a joke, right?
If they were going for the original shotgun look, they shouldve just done a 1:1 remake, not whatever this is.
Looks like something out of CoD: Black Ops 3.
Or rather liked Juniez's remake and took a shot at it themselves.

I heard someone once make a joke that you can recognize a gun model being made by an American person by the fact there's railing on the gun pretty much everywhere you can see. :v:

This is the only place I've seen that has disliked the shotgun. It's a gorgeous model IMO

That one looks too Cartoonish IMO, doesn't fit the Art style of BM.
Maybe it will look better when it is complete.
I don't see a problem with it. Lose the rail and it would be fit nicely.

It will never be complete sadly, the guy quit when they released retail cause he didn't want to re-rig everything from scratch

Well he was trying to replicate Half-Life's models 1:1, if they really want an accurate spas model just use the one from Half-Life 2

I don't have a problem with the model as I have with the viewmodel origin (holding it way too far wide)
