Don't want to jump to conclusions, but it looks gorgeous, to say the least.

Wow I'm now hype for Infra. I spoiled myself from playing The Vanishing of Ethan Carter with a let's play, so I'm excited that this looks like Ethan Carter for industrial nerds.
Looks like Prospekt is also gonna be releasing soon.

That's quite a lot of money for a HL2 mappack.
Why is Valve letting people sell games based off their franchise anyway? I've never heard of anyone doing that before.

There have been a few, Valve isn't stingy at all with their IP.

They probably take a hefty amount of money when a copy is bought on Steam.

I'm sure there are other examples.

Black Mesa?
Black Mesa?
That's just a remake of HL1 though. In this mod, the story is viewed from Adrian's eyes, someone we actually don't know his whereabouts in HL2 so it's pretty much an unscavenged area. I wonder if this means Valve doesn't plan on doing nothing more with Adrien by themselves.
-wall of text-
remember that sickk tracktrain drifting in car cutscene?
or that shotgun halfway in the floor?
or overuse of stock textures?
or multilevel wate which causes horrible visual glitches?
or shitton of unoptimised physboxes on the last stage for breaking tiles (matrix style)?
also apparently sackboy is truckdriver and Wilson has leg stuck in the driver wheel

It's just an unnoffical sequel
After years of searching, I finally managed to reunite three old friends:

And I thought it was only appropriate that they're joined by two familiar acquaintances:

But what reunion would be complete without the eccentric German uncle everybody forgot about inviting himself in?

Opposing Force's ESRB rating is colored differently, it's upsetting.

if that annoys you, wait till you see that HL's M in the rating is slightly more stretched and skinnier than the other ones.

I used to own TekWar
I don't remember anything about it
On a nostalgic side-note, anyone can grab an SDK 2006 mod of HL2 with old Vort from SourceRuns wiki. It's the least broken HL2, it's still got the sprint jump bhop. Look for Old Engine Unpack, or its DWAHMoV cousin, Source Unpack.
It's not warez, you still need a Source game for SDK access.

how much did getting gunman chronicles cost? shit, this game is hard to find on the web too
I had no idea Gunman Chronicles existed.
The fuck is that "ME-LIFE" behind it?
I need to acquire those two games.
If I remember right, that's actually something called "EXTREME-LIFE", which was some sort of German HL1 mappack sold in stores for a brief time or something. It was brought up in the thread a little while back.
there many different places to get Gunman Chronicles nowadays
Holy shit , Gunman-Chronicles?
I remember playing it back in 2003 , while riding on the HL2 hype-train ( well , before it got delayed.....)
Do people still play it?
I haven't heard about Gunman Chronicles until now.

cost me only a few dollars on amazon, but it was only the jewel case + cd. it was still sealed, which was cool.
I feel like the only person in the world with these versions of the Half-Life / Gunman Chronicles boxes.

(Sorry about the blurry photos, my phone's camera is slowly dying).
I know that they are the European releases, still feel like I'm the only person with them.
Gunman Chronicles is the shit. Kind of a lost gem in my opinion.
Chronicles is very good, for as cheesy as it could kinda, I really liked everything it had to offer. Dino planet, Ferran moon, western planet and it's research base. The customizable weapon modes was totally unique for the time too, way ahead of other games that did that stuff. I'm hoping that support for it gets into Sven Coop.

Anyone other than Valve is what I mean.

Wait a minute.
Extreme Life's subtitle there says "Half-Live" not "Half-Life"
Good job Germany.

It happens all the time though?
Telltale is doing stuff about Minecraft, Batman, and Borderlands for Mojang/Microsoft, WB, and Gearbox as we speak.
