No need to vent your anger about Valve here, every single developer leaves some old data in their games.
You wouldn't believe how much Rockstar Games left in GTA San Andreas and their recent GTA's. I would know, I was one of the biggest data miners of that time. Ovekill does it too with Payday 2, huge amount of beta stuff, removed or to be released. It happens to everyone.
What?
Im not angry at all.

Thats just how i talk.
I actually like that they dont remove stuff, its neat when it slips through the cracks and you get to see things that didnt make it in.
And yeah i know about the GTA's, they're particularly famous for that.
an update just occured for it
My bad, I thought the way you used "shit" and "ridiculous" displayed your anger. Better that I'm mistaken.
oh lord they didnt remove these. someone actually pointed out the references on steamvr forums. its probably done on purpose
They're jankin our wank yank.

ValveTime posted some images of the D0g model for those still doubting its legitimacy. More here.

The textures for the L4D3 "retired engineer" look really neat.
I hope we get some game news soon.
If L4D3 does actually release with the "Retired Engineer" as a playable character, first thing I'm doing is making a soundpack to replace all his lines with the TF2 Engineer.
What’s more, we’ve worked very closely with Valve to implement one of AMD LiquidVR’s premier features called Affinity multi-GPU into the Aperture Science Robot Repair demo, which this tool is based on . Think of this as CrossFire technology for VR, where the application lets one GPU render for the left eye, and the other for the right eye. Though the work implementing Affinity mGPU into this application is not finished, it’s already showing significant performance uplift over a single GPU.**

**To enable multi-GPU support, use “-multigpu” as a launch option without the quotes. Please note this work is still ongoing, and is not an officially supported feature at this time.
Yeah, it's been a long time since we've seen them truly put out a game. At this point, even a new Day of Defeat would be neat.
This is beautiful.

I think they've forgotten DoD even exists at this point.
I'd probably play it. Though I imagine L4D3's gonna need to offer a fair bit more than what we've already got in L4D2, what with the playerbase and years of gathered content, both official and third-party.
I'm the only one who thinks that cockpit test map was related with SoB (that space game who was cancelled)?
It looks pretty cool, I bet it must look awesome on VR if someday someone decides to finish it.
EDIT: ValveTime already comments about it, my bad.

No you're not, it even says so in the description on that ValveTime article.
Plus it's different time span, this map is simply too detailed for something that barely left minds of creators.
Oh man that Dog model turned out to be true.
You jivin on me?
no jives, friend, just reading the writing on the wall

And then at E3 2016, the next new Valve game is announced: [sp]Ricochet 2
this joke's been done a million times by now[/sp]
It'd be good if they told us literally anything. I know they tend to enjoy secrets and surprises, and that they take all of the time ever with their projects, but in all honesty they do rather suck at communicating normally.
Valve releases a VR demo, half the world is active like "ohm my gud wha do dhey gonna do!"
they will announce when shits ready for real and not scrapped
[editline]22nd February 2016[/editline]
Like seriously, nothing is happening
