The image name for the first one is 'Office Door'. It almost looks like a Bendy office.
there are a lot of things in portal that were cut for memory
wanna see something really cool? By far the coolest cut portal feature?

I'll give you a minute to figure it out
Light being cast from portals?

I thought maybe too, but there's a ceiling, which bendy doesn't usually have.
Maybe it's a shader zoo?
At this rate the 'near final' beta release of Portal 1 pretty much seems more complete than the actual final build due to stripping it down for the 360's memory capacity. Is there anything actually wrong or unfinished about it?

nope: it was basically cut down because 360
If Valve were to create a third portal, I would love it to be a prequel of sorts set in the Cave Johnson era

Yeah, it's very unexplored, and has a ton of potential to explore pre-apocalypse aperture.
It wouldn't necessarily be Portal without portals, but I wouldn't mind seeing Portal become just a puzzle FPS series for Valve. I'm sure they've got other neat concepts, and considering how wacky Aperture tends to be they could right it off as another weird experiment.
I'd love for Valve to expand more on the side experiments.

I'd like to see what someone mentioned earlier in the thread, about valve doing F-Stop and releasing it, it seemed like a really interesting experience.

A prequel would be an awesome opportunity to expand somewhat on early Black Mesa, too.
For being the poster child science company of Valve's most beloved series, they don't have a lot of background. Or any, besides "secret science company does secret science". Or any chance to be expanded on in their own series ever again since they're very, very dead.
with all the things we've seen I wouldn't be surprised if HL3 took on the role of a RPGFPS like Deus Ex
I wouldn't consider it to be a Half-Life game.

I have no idea how the hell they would implement that. It just wouldn't make any sense.
"Gordon Freeman? Hey, I know you are busy stopping the Combine and doing whatnot but do you think you could fetch me some headcrabs?"

To be honest, I am absolutely sick of sandbox games I'd rather see some well made linear ones instead, thank you very much.
He said "like Deus ex" though

Which one though? The first 2 ones which I have no idea how they worked and I won't pretend I do or Human Revolution which I played and can say that genre wouldn't fit HL game at all.
the escape and it isn't as playtester friendly. There are more ninja-y levels that require mouse control
Is the GLaDOS fight the same as the final one?
Also do you think Valve will let you release it sometime?
I would kill to play the beta.

If it's going to be anything like Invisible War there will be lots of riots.
