Can someone repost the video of the guy that used a file scrambler on HL2? I can't find it anywhere.

During shootouts with combine soldiers, my FPS goes from 100 to 20. When just walking around in corridors its goes very close to 300. I wish the framerate was stable and not all over the place. This is with HL2 update btw
On the automatic train topic: I was replaying Episode One for achievements (Haven't played it since they came out), and got a lot of proof that human and combine trains are automatic (or at least, can be when needed). Alyx starts the train when escaping the citadel (Probably) and she definitely starts the civilian train in the very end, using the console.
The trains are likely Automatic but have the option for Manual. This would also explain why you can never see a visible conductor in the trains, not even in Point Insertion where the train is stationary and up close.

I tried, but it keeps importing with artifacts that aren't present in the image, like random red or yellow-green pixels around the edges. I'm probably not using the right settings in the importer. But I never really knew how to do textures anyway, I only have the program and the bear minimum knowledge to use it. Someone who actually knows what they're doing could get it done in 2 minutes if that.

Was messing around in Ravenholm and just noticed the steeple building's roof changes depending on what map you're on :v: In one map it's orange, then it's absent, then it's orange again, then it's black, then it's sheet metal. I find it interesting they added it to each map for consistency, but didn't keep the building itself consistent. I wonder what Ravenholm would be like as one big map... Does that exist? Has anyone done that?

I would love a remastered Half-Life 2, such as Halo 1 and Halo 2 have been. I just watched some cutscenes for Halo 2 and it's made me really want a remastered HL2
