MP7 needs an actual stock at the back and the foregrip needs to be lengthened. Back part needs to be even with the rest of the gun. Front end of the AR2 doesn't quite right, top barrel should be higher.

More like that.
I'm basing these off the W_Models.

The foregrip is shorter than the rest of the gun, and there isn't really a stock. The back part is lower than the rest of the gun.

The top front part of the AR2 has a slight bend downwards, which I tried to show by moving it down a pixel.
You shouldn't base everything off the world models, imo. The viewmodel has a stock and in the resolution you are working I think it would look better if you just kept it linear with the AR2.

I'll see what I can do about the AR2/SMG1.
The viewmodel of the MP7 has a stock that's the same size as the back of the gun, though. And from what I can see, the foregrip is still shorter. Dunno. I'll take a look at the viewmodels.
EDIT: The foregrip is longer, I'll edit that. I'll see how to add the stock, and I'll adjust the AR2.

"Gordon and Alyx relaxing after a long, successful day of cache hunting."
Hey guys, I made another Half-Life related thing. Just a poster this time. Hope you enjoy! Also, there's a hidden Gman in there somewhere.
Guys I'm having a problem right now, I need your help. So, a long time ago I uploaded two Portal 2 maps to the workshop, the last one was on May 28th of 2012. Then I started a third map, which took me a very long time to make. A lot of time passed and I forgot about it, and never uploaded it to the workshop. I uninstalled Portal 2 and some days later realised my mistake.
Fast forward to today. I install Portal 2 again, and when I try to launch it it says my steamcloud is unsynched, and gives me two options: download old files to my computer which were last saved on May 28th of 2012 (when I uploaded my second map and before starting the third I guess) or upload new files to the cloud which were created today just after installing the game.
Which one should I choose? Am I going to recover the lost map or what?
Edit: Strangely enough, I unlocked some achievements on August of 2012, so I must have uninstalled the game around that time, I don't know why the steamcloud save is so old, it makes me think I'm going to lose progress if I choose that option, but having uninstalled the game and having a fresh install now makes me think if I upload the new files to the cloud it'll erase ALL the things I made, that's why I don't know what to do

if you had autosave enabled on hammer look in C:\HammerAutosave\ to see if theres a copy of the vmf there, i think steam cloud just save game progress not maps you have maps and put on workshop

The thing is I wasn't using hammer, I was just using the in-game editor.
have a look in SteamApps\common\Portal 2\portal2\puzzles that should contain folders to maps made with the ingame editor
alfred what did you do to my half-life 1
ducking when on a ladder makes you go super slow now? why.
lol the shotgun scientist at the lambda core doesn't even open the door anymore. gg.

With the AR2 you don't manually reload it (so you only see it from the same angle as a view model), so the world model is the only one worth using (and it's the one people will use as a base when recognising it, given you see x number of little Combine men using it throughout all 3 games)

If you still have this issue, go to Half-Life\valve\maps\graphs\ and delete c3a2d.nod.

His job position is "Research Associate".
His job position is "Research Associate".
How does that make him retarded?
Gordon is retarded in canon IIRC
Gabe did say once that HL is like a movie where your MC is autistic!
Gordon is retarded in canon IIRC
Well the only work we've ever seen him do is push buttons unlike his keyboard crunching, teleporter building peers. Maybe he was hired into Black Mesa by nepotism so he gets the easy work/shit work. Would really put one of your top scientists into a massive (probably radiation spewing) chamber just to throw a switch and push a cart?
I know none of it is is canonically right, but I thought it was funny to think about.

Gordon is retarded in canon IIRC
Gabe did say once that HL is like a movie where your MC is autistic!
autism ≠ retardation
If Gordon is retarded does that mean we're retarded?
SHIT
Gabe did say once that HL is like a movie where your MC is autistic!
No, Gabe said people play singleplayer games like they're autistic, i.e. wondering around instead of paying attention, taking everything in sight, interacting with random machines / objects, throwing random props at people, etc.
They wouldn't call Gordon retarded because they've already said that Gordon is a sort of 'stand-in' for the player to insert himself into the world. Unless they're calling their fans retarded, which they I don't think they'd do that.

I doubt Half-Life would have been much of a success if you needed a degree in theoretical physics and special training on systems that don't even exist in the real world to even cause the resonance cascade at the start of the game. It's like how hacking mini-games just have you do puzzles instead of actually require intricate knowledge in cyber-security and the methods on circumventing it.
For no particular reason, I decided to unearth this particular issue of EGM:

There's really nothing remarkable about it, really. In retrospect, I suppose it's not worth mentioning in this thread since it's not Half-Life related at all, come to think of- wait a minute. What's that?
