Finally bought a new GPU and playing new Doom without any framedrops.
What have I missed? All the challenges and collectibles seem to be done, right? Codex entries, maybe?

These are combat ratings only so you just need to step up your game and kick a lot of ass to get all of them.

Oh, so the weapon upgrades actually depend on how well you play - cool.
Thanks

Better?
Oh, so the weapon upgrades actually depend on how well you play - cool.

Not necessarily. If you collect everything, do all the challenges and get maximum combat ratings in every level you end up with something like twelve extra upgrade points by the end, which means they made it so you could miss a few things and still be able to upgrade everything.
So it indulges being a completionist/secret hunter as well. Which I was pretty big on.
It seems GOG added Singularity. I am happy that Activision is now adding more games there after the 2 years break. But god dammit they should stop overpricing it!
EDIT: Those greedy bastards. The GOG verison costs way more than on Steam.
40 fucking bucks for Singularity?
What the fuck Actishit?

Costs the same here in the US. It's $29.99 on both steam and GOG.
Was browsing through my ever-expanding Steam collection and found out that I actually bought Blood 2: The Chosen at some point.
Last time I played it was... Erm, back in 1999-2000 I guess? (despite B2 coming out in 1998 it wasn't readily available in Russia at the release, or, at least, where I live)
For a 10 year old kid that game was awesome but apparently not awesome enough - all my games back then were pirated copies, and not because I couldn't afford legit games - there weren't any legit videogames store in my city in the late 90s, early 00s.
And almost all those pirated games had quite a few drawbacks - like bad translation and overdubbed voice "acting".
My copy of Blood 2 I owned back in 2000 had all of it's music cut out for some reason. And hearing it now I can say - this is the shit. Blood 2 has a lot of flaws compared to others FPS of his time but music is not one of them.

Yeah well, shit happens, the same thing happened to me a while back and I just replaced mine, it was a piece of shit anyway.

Polish version of Unreal Tournament GOTY edition is pretty cringe-worthy. Not only most of the scripts are mis-translated, but also dubbed by same 3 russians VAs you hear in some games (I am looking at you AoE 2 The Conquerors). Hell, sometimes the text doesn't match the voice at all. It's pretty magical and I believe I still have the CD of it.
Man, whoever animated the revenant in 2016 doom deserves an award

I played a survival horror-style Snapmap level where your ammo is limited, you had to hold the mod button to run, and towards the end, you accidentally unleash a very angry Revenant so you can grab a keycard to finish the map.
So naturally you gotta run like hell and hope this extraordinarily agitated skeleton doesn't get close enough to shove his clawed fists up your arse while dodging missiles all over the place.
I figured out how to load mods into QVR (Quake for Google Cardboard) as the Darkplaces mod select is disabled atm.
I tried it with After The Fall since it doesn't use it's own config file.

When starting mods though the FOV resets to 90 and needs to be manually set back, though you probably can put a command in autoexec.cfg.
I might try the Alien TC next.
I think that instead of having character specific abilities, they should take them and make them power-ups that can be activated at any point by any character, so it retains the whole notion that in Quake, everyone starts out at an even playing field.
I'll keep my retail disc version of Singularity which came with a USB for some reason, a Digital version of the MP Prima guide.
Too bad the MP's dead now, it was slightly fun.
Singularity was such a strangely underrated game. It was fairly average gameplay wise but I loved the story.

The prolific times of Russian pirated games were a magical time. And they also upkept the tradition of selling mods as full on expansions for the longest time!

It wasn't it Russia because it was the only game about "evil ruskies" where the golden good ending involves USSR becoming the only government on Earth. That is also benevolent.

I myself prefer the ending where you [sp]use your time powers to become a supervillain and rule the world.[/sp]

Have you managed to fix the pathfinding issues that can occur in these custom environments? I tested out the other outdoor area you made and most ground-based demons tend to run away from you if you can get far enough away from them.
The area in the video looks a lot smaller though so it may not be an problem.

I have succeeded in adding a ketchup and mustard dispenser to my ammunition counter.
