I hate how people are still complaining at id even though they listened and added in deathmatch, and it's not like they can just shit out a single-player expansion.
It's not Id's fault Bethesda had way too much damn faith in the multiplayer carrying the game so they only announced multiplayer content for the season pass. One of the few times I wish they'd pull another Fallout 4 and just add more single player content to the season pass.
I'm just hoping they pull an Old Blood and take the time put together a meaty single-player expansion, I would rather have that than a bunch of smaller DLCs. [editline]23rd September 2016[/editline] Also, looking back on it, considering the fact that the game (or at least this incarnation) started development in August 2013, they had three different parts of the game to make (even though Multiplayer and SnapMap were partially outsourced, at least until the game shipped), decisions made with id Tech 6 were dictated after John Carmack left, and general development hell, I'm kinda surprised the game turned out as great as it has.

i always love that 'player gets a kill, starts taunting and gets annihilated'
An excellent new gameplay video from World Tour: There are surprises throughout, so be sure to watch all the way to the end!
It's about ethics in aimbotting

I wonder if a new competitor will emerge from the shadows in a few months time, make it even more competitive!!!
The sounds seem better in that video then the last one, the shotgun at least.

He makes a Polygon dude who played DOOM look like a damn ESL pro.

Good lord.
no one person can possibly suck that badly that must've been a group effort

They shouldn't even need to try this before knowing this isn't going to stick, they are operating in the same market where games like Titanfall survived for a week and half. Maybe, a L4D2 styled versus gamemode, a playable demons vs doomguy gamemode, maybe just make a coop campaign. There is so much they could do with this title, with the gameplay and assets, and they made the most generic tacked on multiplayer seen in years.

Deathmatch actually kinda blows unfortunately. It's constantly spawning me in front of enemies. I could have sworn it still spawns everyone at the start as if they were in a team too.
I kinda hope there's an Old Blood style expansion on Phobos and Deimos, since they're actually mentioned through posters and propaganda in-game, and then have the next game take place on Earth. I really just want Phobos for that sweet, terraformed, misty atmosphere.

Why anyone whom actually pays any attention to this kind of absurdity-in-action is mystifying. "trust my review I know games" Nigga you can't even make the little square be on the animated mans, how the hell am I supposed to trust your long view objectivity when you can't even get out of the tutorial without help.
I don't know about anyone else but the Aztec mission in Goldeneye 64 has be one of the most brutal in FPS history. Enemies can easily take down half your health in one go and as a result its a struggle to even reach the complex.
DOOM II: DOOM '16 But Where Every Level is The Foundry
are there any mirrors? it sounds like it was a good laugh
On a different thread.
Many thanks to varg666 who managed to selflessly rescue this national treasure from the void of eternal privatization.
Also finished the original 4 episodes of Duke Nukem 3D, is there any mod i should check out?
ALL OF THEM! (Go down and download EDuke32 Addon Compilation). Of course you need Eduke32 to run it. You also have AMC TC, War of Attrition, DukePlus or Duke Forces. There is also Cosmetic Duke if want just touch the game a little bit. Also, a classic and one of my favorites: Naferia's Reign: Invasion of the Dark Mistress. Featuring popular characters like Lo Wang from Shadow Warrior, Bubsy Bobcat from Bubsy and Ami Mizuno from Sailor Moon.
What could possibly go wrong?
I've just playtested what i've got so far in Golden Souls 2, and it took me 2 hours and 50 mins to reach the last map i've made, a blind playthrough will probably take 3 to 4 hours, and it's only half of the game, feels good :)
Just saw that Piko Interactive (The guys behind the new SNES copies of Super Noah's Ark 3D) are selling official new copies of the Genesis/Mega Drive version of Duke 3D. It's $40, but it's better than the $300 for a used Brazilian cart. You can probably guess what are the main inspirations for this level [vid]http://webm.land/media/ROwb.webm[/vid]
You can probably guess what are the main inspirations for this level [vid]http://webm.land/media/ROwb.webm[/vid]
You have an estimated release date?
The sounds in the "new" Duke Nukem are really jarring, like you've got the HD sounds of Duke mixed with the low quality original shots firing and enemies, who the fuck thought that was a good idea?
You have an estimated release date?
As i always say, i don't know because there's still lots of stuff to do and i'm working alone, But i'm sure that it'll not come out by the end of this year (though there will be a new demo in a month or two), but i'll probably wrap it up next year, and it will be worth it
Is there a way to change the resolution in Devil Daggers? My laptop's native resolution is 1440p but it struggles with any game running above 1080p
