Features a light story-esque setup with a hayden "guide", a couple puzzles and a set piece ending, weapon pickups on the ground like SP, supports 3 players (coop untested), and a few secrets.
I tried to make it feel like an early game level because i want to make more, so only pistol/HAR/SG are available, with weaker demons.
Use that code or just search Quantum Hazard to try it, let me know what you guys think.

I can't be the only one who thinks that, at 0:54, the Cacodemon is all "ahm gunna gitcha!~" kinds of happy.
Also, I like the look of the new maps, especially Orbital. Though I'm still clamouring for some more singleplayer content. THAT'S what I want from shooters nowadays. And just because WE can make our own levels, doesn't mean we don't want to see how the pros do a level pack.
Finally installed Doom now I've got the 2TB harddrive in. It's fun.

Getting frequent crashes, usually on loading screens first loading the game or first loading a save, once during gameplay on the codex screen. Anyone know what that's about?

Well those look very proof of concept more than anything. Very rough with unfinished assets.
At least we see a few renders of some earlier version of Doomguy. Also the imps before they were redesigned to look less like basic zombies and hellknights.

Probably why they ended up going with "Fight like hell". I thought that was kinda lame at the time but if the alternative was "Hell's got no chance in hell" then maybe it wasn't so bad.
I find some of that really interesting.
It honestly doesn't look [I]that[/I] old because the helmet on Doomguy is the E3 era one.
Still says F-90 on the helmet, and it seems like Doomguy's armor in this rendition is not only sleeker, but it's got a big UAC logo right on the chest-plate. Makes me wonder what the story was originally about, considering how it points more towards him not being trapped in hell and having armor that was sort of "improved" by demons.
I also think it's important to note that Doomguy originally did actually have a fucking oldschool pump action shotgun.

I'm 99% sure that the shotgun in the picture is placeholder; there's no way this image is final or doomguy has an extremely broken neck
You know, i wouldn't mind a classic shotgun option for snap map, i always liked the old aesthetic better than the new modern looking shotgun.

i think it kinda fits with the whole UAC space font theme or like a stylized phone game
I actually really like the logo with all the red lines running through it, as well as the corresponding box art.

The structures in the background also look a lot like a destroyed Earth, and the Imps look.. weird compared to even the E3 showing. Who knows, maybe this was timed at an inbetween of the Call of Doom build and the E3 build.
