Even if you wanted to touch the save, you can't.
If you quit the game during an Ultra-Nightmare playthrough it deletes the save file, doesn't it?
You can save and quit during the mission end-screens and it will save there. You can't quit in the middle of a mission, then it acts like you died and deletes the save.
Is there like any solution for the random CTDs that keep happening throughout the game? Gets annoying when you're in the zone killing everything.

The only time my game CTD is either at the end of missions or when I use the bfg, it does it more often at the end of missions though

The fucking Drake and Josh theme at the end.
I felt so confident I made a guide on how to beat the first level on Ultra-Nightmare!

...I'm so lost without my sweet double-jump and super-shotty.
The top of the argent tower mission reminded me so much of the top of the citadel in HL2

...I slipped at the first jump.
Guys I'm on something of a personal project. I've been compiling every major DOOM WAD to create an Ultimate DOOM pack for myself. In addition, I'm also collecting original docs that came with the game (manuals, readmes, etc.).
So far I have...
Master Levels for Doom 2
ACTION2.WAD
-BONUS.WAD
CHEX.WAD
-CHEX2
CHEX3.WAD
DOOM.WAD
DOOM2.WAD
FINAL DOOM
-PLUTONIA.WAD
-TNT.WAD
HACX.WAD
HARM1.WAD
HERETIC.WAD
HEXDD.WAD
HEXEN.WAD
Master Levels for DOOM 2
STRIFE1.WAD
-VOICES.WAD
...And I currently have all the relevant docs except for the docs for Chex Quest 2, Heretic, and HeXen: Deathkings of the Dark Citadel.
So, two things: Am I missing any major IWAD files, and do you guys know where I can find those remaining docs? Note that I'm trying to avoid ongoing projects; Freedom and HACX 2.0 aren't going to be included, for instance. I'm also avoiding alternate versions or shareware/demos. So I won't be including DOOM1.WAD or DOOM2F.WAD
Borderlands bosses are loot gates, that's it. I really only liked the loader bosses because they had specific patterns and weak points.
They just loved sticking all the end-game loot in terrible bosses, when like BUNKER was maybe the one good boss fight between the two games.

Or when random drops in a cave are better than the final boss. With that Said, the DLC is my favourite part. Especially the RPG island thing.
There was no Heretic manual I could find so I made one.

Snapmap really needs more basic modules. It sucks when a certain module has the exact shape that you want, but it has a lava pit built into the middle of it. It'd be great if you could choose a shape from the menu, then one of a few variations of that shape (Flat, Stairs, Lava Pit, etc). Also, smaller square rooms, T-Hallways, and 'wall' props would be nice.
god dammit i hit the wall in my nightmare playthough because cyber mancubus are literally cancer and spray acid all over the flood that does 40 damage ticks.

Just wait until Pinkies sneak up behind you and then gently glance you with their hitbox and do 80 damage. :^)
God, what I wouldn't give for a mode with remixed enemy encounters. I want to keep playing, but I'm running out of ways to mix things up.
I'm finally buckling down and figuring out SnapMap, and the fact that you can't have a group encounter without setting up demons such as Imps or Possessed that spawn in the general vicinity is making me rip my fucking hair out.

I'm trying to set up specific spawn points for a few enemies that spawn after you pass a Box Trigger, and once all of the enemies in the room are killed, a door unlocks, but I can't figure out how to set something like that up without having all the enemies tied to a group encounter.
I'm trying to make a 2v2 MOBA in snapmap and it's really obvious that they only want you to make certain things with snapmap.
this isn't open ended at all
anyone else think the in flight mobility rune should be in SP/MP as a permanent perk? on nightmare its extremely hard to not have it since you can dodge mid air and im MP it would be great for juking.
Argent labs feels like aperture science 2.0
The writing is actual pretty funny tbh. It's somewhere between Fallout and Portal.
Most of the time it's delightfully over the top, but sometimes it's pretty subtle.
Argent labs feels like aperture science 2.0
Seems less so when you consider the person who founded it is almost the polar opposite of Cave Johnson.
Who voices Vega? The voice is seriously familiar but I'm not having much luck finding it out. Reminds me of Secretary Titan in Redline except less Evil Brit.
Also I'd have liked to have the helmet showing all through the game. i always thought it was really cool how they did that in Republic Commando.
Still no sound when playing the campaign.....fucking shit I wanna play!!!

Usually for me, the problem seems to fix itself if I alt-tab out, go back in, then wait for a little bit while fiddling with the audio settings. Bit of a fiddly work-around, but it gets the job done.
