These three souls are never supposed to fight you and just zoom by as you enter the area as your first introduction to them. Seems like the script got stuck for a bunch of people and they just remain in place.

It had more gimmicks but it wasn't really that hard.

I thought they were a piece of cake, they're easy to read and have by far the highest recoveries of all the bosses.

So after finishing the game I noticed I never used a grenade(forgot they were even there), and I never used the weapon wheel. I also kept forgetting the chainsaw was a thing.

I tried both and neither work.
God is the only traditional command that seems to work.

Mostly what I ended up using was the Pistol because its charge mode is insane when maxed out, and the Shotgun and Super-Shotgun. Every so often I'd use the Plasma gun, and in the last few levels the Gauss Cannon's Siege Mode saw good use.
I combo'd the Super Shotgun and Plasma Stun quite a lot.
I pretty much used Gauss Siege every time I saw a Manc or Cyber-Manc cause I just didn't wanna deal with those fuckers.

It's a nice trash clearer, but then that's it. Stun is way more valuable and gives you more breathing room.
I still like how the BFG gave you a room to experience it after getting it.

IDK if this is just a multiplayer thing (I've never beat Q2's singleplayer), but the weapons just don't feel as responsive.
Once I got the unlimited missiles for the HAR's mini missiles, that was pretty much my goto weapon alongside the combat shotgun w/ explosive shot and plasma rifle w/ stun. Barely used the rocket launcher or super shotgun because it felt too slow. Only pulled out the gauss cannon when the heavies came out. Didn't even touch the chaingun until boss fights when I was running out of ammo for my other guns.

why is sniping a thing that 100% has to be in EVERY SHOOTER EVER even shooters that don't even allow for sniping as a practical solution?

it's a shame that you have snipers in multiplayer as well, but, at least it isn't as bad as it is in loadout where you'll get complete morons trying to snipe and RC rocket kills who ironically end up dragging the entire team down and then ~brag about how much better they did~

I played loadout for a while but quit after every team I was on was full of retards who didn't want to go for objectives. Idiots with snipers sitting back on the control point mode not capping while the enemy team was all over it constantly. Then when we lost because no one was capable of going for objectives, the idiot with the sniper who abuse the rest of the team.
Also they shut down Australian servers so fuck them.

I wish I could care more about loadout but the CoD kids ruin it with their pulse sniper rifles and remote control rocket launchers
they also totally abandoned PC completely for the PS4 version. 99% sure they've abandoned that by now too.
the funny thing about loadout too is how insanely OP chainguns are
last I checked my gun had around 750~ damage per second
and people think the chainguns in doom are OP. They aren't shit compared to that :v:
