Because when its configured properly it can keep up with fast reation games just fine? Why would you assume device you havent used cant do something? That touch pad is just as percise and fast as my mice. I swap between playing on mouse and keyboard on 1080 screen, and controller on 4k screen in my ultra ultraviolent playthrough, i dont lose any skill swapping...

I can't play shooters on normal controllers for shit, but I acknowledge that some are quite adept with them and the controllers themselves are quite nice.

Might have been my crap sense of direction but I didn't manage to find the yellow keycard (but did find 2 secrets as well as the secret with in a secret?) and I'm sorry to say I lost interest. The enemy balancing was alright but you put way too many pickups around which made the level too easy, I was at full health/armour at most times which meant I didn't bother to go for some of the small armour pieces. You put 2 large armour pickups in one room despite it being a 1 player map. Also due to me being stupid I didn't realise you had to put the green core back before you could leave the room to find another one, maybe add something into the dialogue to guide players to do that. I also didn't like how many large rooms there were and how much backtracking I needed to do. Other than that it has promise, you just need to keep balance in mind when placing pickups.

You using the Steam Controller has nothing to do with my point, which is that the only way your "IQ could hurt" is if you were being elitist with your approach to gaming - there's nothing wrong with what he said. In fact, you should be agreeing with him since he's saying "I suck with controllers but some people are good with them - plus the Steam Controller can be customized to better fit your playstyle." It just seems like you were trying to put up a shitty zinger instead of come up with an actual argument.

To move onto the topic of DOOM and DOOM mods, my brothers and I have had a ton of fun playing what is probably my favorite DOOM mod of all time: The City of the Damned - Apocalypse. As I'm a newbie to DOOM mods, I'm probably very late, but on the off chance that you haven't played it like I haven't, you should play that stuff immediately.
I'm a fan of mods that completely transform DOOM into a new experience.
