I really want to hear more of the unused beta tracks. They seem to be a lot more intense and action-oriented than the final versions, which are mostly calm and atmospheric. I just finished putting together a tutorial for using Strife's Dialog system if anyone wants to take a look at that. Still a little pissed that you can't see Doomguy or take pictures during glory kills. I really wanted to get a shot of the end where [sp]Doomguy has his BFG shoved in the Mastermind's mouth.[/sp]
So I've been playing around with Eureka(Yadex fork) on my Raspberry(PC broke, poor guy) and wow, even though I feel like I'm making it way harder than it should be, creating levels for doom is kinda fun, once you figured all that stuff like linedefs, sectors and things out. Sad that Slade3 doesn't work though, afaik that means I'm limited to default textures. There's DeuTex, but I'm not quite sure if that's used for custom textures?

There's quite a lot of cameras scattered throughout every level actually. Of course when you're not playing a recording this never occurs. The first demo recording in the above video also nicely shows the final version of one of the levels you can see in the beta build. I'm hoping there's gonna be rock props coming with hell levels, because then we could stick those in base maps and make them into underground-type maps. It's funny, I find myself actually using the charged burst mod for the shotty now because i like how the standard barrel looks centered so much.

Everything is just facility stuff and the awful limits are really keeping Snapmap from being great. I still wish that they'll implement modsupport for it :(

The windows really help. Snapmap maps no longer feel like they exist in the middle of fucking nowhere on some alternate plane of existence surrounded by a void.
