I saw no evidence of marksman-based chortling.
I feel cheated. Cheated!
I've played both games, but I think Invisible War is just kinda alright rather than great. I didn't hate it but it wasn't as good.

they have a spike on their tongue?
does that mean they have tongue bones?
I don't think that's what was actually going on
I know for a fact that they do laugh though.
Might not be at your shitty shooting, but several DW members have seen Cacos laughing at them during that section of Kadingir.
Despite what people say about Invisible War, I actually really enjoyed it, that being said however, I've never played the original.
I've played both and I enjoy DX:IW. The original is definitely better, but IW is good too.
Invisible war is chrono cross to the original's chrono trigger

Ive had them do the laugh as ive been put on low health before. Not sure if they do it for a specific reason tho

Cacodemons and Revenants are always happy and laughing.
Thats pretty much the case with the game. Everyone I know who's played Invisible War but hasn't played the first game said that Invisible War was really good. Everyone I know who played I- what the hell did you just say you haven't played the original Deus Ex???
Indeed, I've never played Deus Ex, I just wasn't really interested enough to do so back in the day, I have it on Steam now but I've never felt the need to play it.
Deus Ex is too slow for me, I couldn't get into it.
That's why I stick to Doom.

btw you guys do realize there's a Deus Ex thread, right?

Just needs to have a hand just shove in the shells from the front of each shotgun, and it'll be alright.
rainbow wave with consecutive spinning breech loads
shotguns?

shotguns.

why not just completely cover the screen in shotguns
you don't need to see when everything in front of you is dead
So this released. It's fun so far, but it takes a while to build up credits for the weapon mods. A better solution than just random spawns plopping them in though, I suppose. A bit too ear-rapey with the 'killed all monsters' sound effect IMO.

I'm actually a bit upset that the static rifle isn't in the campaign, even though I guess the railgun renders it a bit redundant.
Now I want a TNO/TOB mod for Wolfenstein 3D :v:
Or rtcw since original wolf3d is sorta a far cry from tno
Man, i saw a video on Duke Nukem recently and it really reminded me how every time i try to play Nuclear Winter i just cant help but notice how fucking dogshit the first level is and stop immediately.
every time i try to play Nuclear Winter
Why would you put yourself through that?
Why would you put yourself through that?
Because every time i go "oh im sure im just remembering it wrong"
And then every time i exit the door to go into the exterior city area and those fucking Tank Snowmen are there to fuck my asshole like a pig in mexico.
The only thing interesting that came out of nuclear winter was making a boss more akin to another player rather than another big beastie imo

I thought that the amount of custom enemies was nice too.
What Doom and Quake source ports do everyone use? I use GZDoom and QuakeSpasm for the most parts, but I'm getting tired of the faithfulness, really. I see some for Doom that allow up/down aim, and some for Quake with really nice visuals. What are they?
GZDoom here. You realize it also lets you jump, crouch, and freelook, right? There's a reason Brutal Doom is built for it.
Anyway, anyone remember those novels which started as a straight adaptation but turned into Doomguy VS The IRS and a bunch of Mormon aesops?

Uh.
You can aim up and down in GZDoom.

What.
I have GZDoom and it isn't letting me aim up and down. Huh.
What.
http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/Doom_novels
Just read the synopsis.
It gets crazier and crazier.

Change freelook in your .ini file. Add the line if it isn't there.
