My question is how are you this butthurt to endeavor this much 'for lulz'.
Go outside nigga, breath some air.
its missing rosamund on a pike
While Pike's role in the film had been officially announced by December of 2004, her involvement didn't prove to be of much interest to those keeping an eye out on the movie, hence I didn't include her in the WAD.
In fact, while literally nothing of the Doom movie had been seen at that point (the first image leak came in March of 2005), virtually the entire script had already been discovered and made known by then, and that's what all the movie buzz was about at the time. These accounts were mostly held as unconfirmed rumors for a while, but reports from the actual filming substantiated largely everything that had been speculated up to then: No Hell or demons, a mutant zombie virus, SWAT teams, the Bio Force Gun, and a man in a wheelchair named Pinky.
This twelve year old Doomworld thread aptly captures the sentiment of the era:

And in case you didn't notice, that 2004 Inquirer story linked this Czech article as a source. The artistic illustrations from that Czech column may seem somewhat familiar to those who observed my WAD:

what is a sense of humor
what is a sense of humor
But who's to say I wasn't so totally butthurt at the time to be compelled to make such a WAD? It was quite a while ago, so I can't truly claim to remember exactly what I was thinking at the time. The time stamp on the WAD file itself says I made my last and final edit to the level on "‎Monday, ‎December ‎20, ‎2004, ‏‎1:08:56 AM". Perhaps that was a time of revelations, numerous beginnings and ends, the veritable alpha and omega of many a saga.
Now that you mention it, I think that was the same week I registered on the forum for some goofy Half-Life 2 mod that had just been released. I have to wonder whatever became of that forum, that mod, and its enigmatic creator.
what is a sense of humor
sarcasm, it is lost on you
what is a sense of humor
A mythological construct.
I can't believe these idiots actually decided to tie achievements to multiplayer DLC.
I really wanted to get every achievement for the game and call it a day, but now the only way to do that is to spend extra bucks on DLC and play more of that garbage multiplayer.
sarcasm, it is lost on you
it wasn't sarcasm it was just shit
doom movie was good movie

I liked the part with The Rock
Gentlemen, I think we can all agree that the first-person sequence was pretty fucking cool. I did enjoy that movie, for all the cheesiness and being unfaithful to the source material it had because death to Hollywood.
Well it is hard to not like Carl Urban
I prefer him in Frownman though, huh I mean Dredd
Doom's multiplayer is actually quite fun; seem to do fairly well at it. Shame there doesn't seem to be much activity outside of TDM
Well it is hard to not like Carl Urban

Yeah, I kinda liked him in Chronicles of Riddick. There's just something about Karl Urban that makes it hard not to like Karl Urban.
I liked the look of the movie. Some of it was very Doom 3
You know, I'd watch a new DOOM movie based on the new game done in the style of Hardcore Henry, if it's done right.
I'd really take a traditionally done modern DOOM movie done right too.
hire me to make the next doom movie please and thank you

Might work.

hardcore henry was a good idea, but in practice it's really disorientating. I'd much prefer a classic styled movie, but along the lines of Mad Max, ie. non-stop action, not a huge amount of exposition and shit
I'm not dead, I swear!

Gonna try to make a projectile based enemy, once I can get my script editors to stop being dipshits. (Visual studio says the solution is 'Incompatible' and MonoDevelop just crashes whenever)
No idea why the jitters come in near the end, never had that happen before. Gonna be fun to troubleshoot :v:
was that a fucking navy seals copypasta he was spouting before you clubbed him senseless?
i think a doom movie would work better if it was more like aliens or tom hall's doom
just a buncha UAC dudes investigatin some shit and then ono spooky monsters
if you just wanted to watch doomguy murder shit in first person there's already plenty videos on youtube for that

I would have liked something like Event Horizon except with a Doom Marine fighting his way through.
I REALLY want to buy DOOM but I have to buy a good trumpet for college. rip :/
I REALLY want to buy DOOM but I have to buy a good trumpet for college. rip :/
It's on the Humble Bundle right now for 50% off I believe, if that helps at all.
you can roleplay as a revenant in the meantime
Yeah, guess I could. Huh.
It's on the Humble Bundle right now for 50% off I believe, if that helps at all.
So, so tempting.

After the price of a good horn, $60 for Doom will seem like pocket change. Believe me I know.

That's the issue. I've got a $500 scholarship check in my bank account atm to use to purchase half of at LEAST a $1000 dollar horn, so it really seems like it isn't that much, but my folks are tight on cash right now.

If it isn't too personal, how much ARE you paying for college right now? 'cause if they only give you half the money for a decent instrument (I take it you're doing a musician's degree or something?), it makes me wonder how much you're paying just to be there for the semester.
Although doesn't the University of Luxembourg ask for 800 Euros for the first two semesters, with each subsequent semester costing a mere 200? Astonishingly cheap compared to the four-figure robbery that was what I paid for my initial enrolment. (sorry if this is off-topic, it's just grabbed my interest)
