I remember this. My ID is 3634; one of the lowest IDs out there. I usually saw 10K and 7K plus when I played.

The ED article is hilarious. Turns out Badspot has a site full of drawn porn. I like this game, and I like the event system, but there's so many egotists on the forums who get everyone to suck their dick. Case in point: Bushido. He makes a Call of Duty ripoff pack with absolutely terrible balance, calls it "perfectly balanced" and he's the king of DMs forever. ID is 274 if anyone plays.

If we got a FP server group going on freebuild or something it'd be hella fun. Basically this game is comparable to what would happen if you took wiremod (but more simple), garrysmod, and legos and crammed them all into a multiplayer game.

I played it for months on end, learned the scripting language, made some weapons, vehicles, events and other shit. Just building with friends was fun for me, so I'd recommend it. The demo doesn't do the game justice since you can barely place anything, and certainly not enough to get a good feel of the game.

Blockland was nice but then I realized that the community became utter shit round the time mote(b/d?) and ussr disbanded. It is nice if you have a private server with the largest idiot filter around. Which I sadly deleted when I changed computers.

Does anybody remember ReactorWorker's map "The Planets" from 2008? I'm working on a faithful remake to it, which includes cube planets that suit the game's theme. There are still some great people in the community, and there's some great add-ons out there, but I'm thinking we need a more mature circle of players to get shit done. The sheer open-endedness of Blockland is what I love - Roblox is also open ended in the same way, but it's loads harder. You can make fancy shit in blockland really easily, and looks better, too.
