no, not the obsolete MP5K, it was a model I was working on editing the CSS MP5
What's the first Half-Life screenshot released again? I know the one with the Houndeyes is the second one, but I remember reading somewhere that this was the first:

Who is that guy in the room on the left? Doesn't seem like a MP/Security Guard to me because he's all green and is holding some sort of SMG. His black and green outfit may suggest he is a HECU, but iirc HECU had white on their uniform since the beginning.

Actually that [B]is[/B] a MP/Security Guard. It's just a [B]really[/B] early version of it.

Then how does the car locator in Ep2 work? The rebel guy even says that "it'll send a homing signal to your HEV suit", but we don't hear, like, a beeping signal when we get closer/farther from the car, or anything.
Although, Ep2 kinda walks away w/o explanation on the flashlight aspect, too, so, I wouldn't expect a proper explanation for the locator, either.
Were there any notes regarding the HUD in HL's training course? Like, for the crosshair, or the damage indicators (which are paired with audio feedback, though). I think there was something like that, which would let you assume that the HUD is visible to the operator.
Since BM had holographic technology, I would buy that they also could have designed a holographic HUD, at least in basic form (the crosshair).

The HUD is just a game element made to fit the theme of the first game, of course it was a more plausible element in the first game since the suit had a helmet at the time, but the suit in HL2 doesn't.

I've been downloading HL2 cut content maps and examining them. It's amazing to see the maps imply connections to each other, like a Manhack arcade map leading into a building with a radio tower, leading to Kleiner's Lab. I wish I could be bothered to draw a map, but I'd probably run into discrepancies anyway.

It's a shame we can't piece together the old story of HL1 as easily as we did with HL2 since it's all just labs and deserts.

Actually, CSCZ never had a WON release, it was strictly Steam only
Its confusing why some posts on how to run the leaked build of CSCZ say you should enter a CD key.
