Actually the greenlight is from a texlight used on the buildings. Its overly bright to say at the least.
So the light entity is a normal default one while it is the texture that becomes the lime color when light hits its surface?

Oh, I thought it was added in to make pollution because of things like Air Exchange and the large amount of factories

So I just found new screenshots on the overwiki of dog's old model(most of the model is actually the same, only major difference being his head/eye and the wires) which were uploaded in May.

Did anyone else know about this?
I think this is actually pretty cool and exciting because we get to see how dog's old textures from the leak actually looked on him. I've thought about messaging Travis on facebook and asking if he actually still has the old model. According to pinterest, he uploaded those pictures of dog a year ago, so there's a chance those are actually more recent screenshots he took for his portfolio and not old screenshots. If that's the case, maybe he still has the model.

If anything, these screenshots might be a good starting point to re-uv and change some details of the retail model to match the leak textures

I think just a clear image of it in a T-pose will do. So far both of Citizen 17's appearance in screenshots are either muddy or too far distanced. Not to mention the possibility of some areas of its model changed or edited slightly.
In other news, I've been working on restoring the old hud(uses textures instead of fonts). Granted, I'm certainly not the first to do it but I stumbled upon the solution in the code and it's RIDICULOUSLY EASY. I think it took me less than a half hour to get it working. It's still in early stages and there are a few format-related things left to do, and I have to fix a bug with the secondary ammo not displaying but other than that, here it is:

You guys ever think about how the gauss gun ammo would fit into the old gameworld? Like, how would you explain finding depleted uranium lying around city 17?
One thing I thought of was to use the hev battery as an ammo source instead. Like one shot from the gauss gun uses x amount of hev battery. What do you think?

It wouldn't be a crazy thing to consider, considering that for example the Stalkers beam can't hurt you with having the suit at full power.

I thought it doesn't hurt you at all even if you have just 1 armor point?
About the uranium, would it be too hard to imagine rebels derailing Combine cargo trains and stealing U & other fuel that way?

SMOD Redux did so, but it wasn't Gauss, it was some kind of laser instead.

Possibly, but it would be hard to work it into the story in my opinion. None of the combine tech that we know of uses uranium as a fuel source. Even if it did, the main source of ammo in the game is from picked up dropped weapons and item crates and I just don't see picking up depleted uranium through either of those methods.
I did actually get the gauss gun fully working using the battery level as an ammo source though.
