As the pack gets bigger they do more and more damage in the original half-life, so they could be useful.

I'd recommend not simply projecting the flat world texture on for the model, since it's being remade anyway. But other than those nitpicks, it is a solid model.

Just like the retail HL2's prop. Other than that it's perfect.

It fits the beta style really good. Keep it up man.

I think it'd be fitting to use point_spotlights instead of simple sprites for the streetlights, as the air is foggy/polluted.

I've been trying to find another way (that isn't complete shit like another sprite) to get the illuminated cone of mist effect for a while now.
I think they're mistaking the unlit part of the street as a shadow rather than just not being covered by a street lamp. Which, don't blame them, it threw me off at first as well.
I think the unlit areas are too dark. The sky seems to be bright enough to cast sufficient amount of ambient lighting so there shouldn't be dense shadows.

Good touch Reminds me of how that obelisk is overshadowed by the citadel in retail hl2
Plus the way it draws an immediate connection between Breencast monitors and the Citadel, i. e. between Breen himself and the alien spire dominating the city.
I like it!
