• Half-life 2 Cut Content - Is it me or dose the cut content look better than what we got?

We're bringing back some old and cut npcs for Missing Information. Also a bunch of old model concepts.
Is MI still actually being worked on? Gabe's love tub seemed to be pretty much dead last time i checked, so i thought the mod was too.
Prozak ( I mean scart) is around here somewhere...
Like on the previous page for instance?
That's why i brought it up since he just mentioned MI. I didn't expect a new page :v:
Missing Information needs a second generation ones that lives in their moms basements so they can release episodes quick. Ill call it Gaebs ovetub: Next Generation

The thing I like to think about is that cut things that didn't make it into the game still exist within the world, it's just that Gordon hasn't seen them (yet), according to Raising The Bar, Eli lost his leg to a bullsquid when he helped Dr. Kleiner over a barrier to get to City 17, so they still exist in some parts, we just haven't seen them. Also since The Combine is a force of many alien species, we could possibly see some future enemies when Half-Life 3 does come out.

I honestly believe this would be the perfect time to reintroduce the original combine super soldier(the synthlike model), considering the harsh environment surrounding the Borealis.
I honestly believe this would be the perfect time to reintroduce the original combine super soldier(the synthlike model), considering the harsh environment surrounding the Borealis.
What would be even cooler is if it turns out there is a regular Combine soldier inside them, piloting it like some sort of armored mech. And then it turns out that Gordon can pilot it too, somehow.
Just out of curiosity did you ever end up having luck with the Missile Defense model?
Well I managed to find a converted Missile Defense model, however its gibs did not come with it so whenever it gets destroyed a bunch of errors still come flying out, also, it does not shoot down rpg's anymore unfortunately. Here's the link to the model I found if anyone wants it: link.

Plus, as with all combine enemy technology, the enemies you face(soldiers, striders, etc.) are fused to the weaponry/developed into the machines themselves.
Apoc told me to drop a duce here I'm gonna try to model the trains and citadel later on when I get time, for now hammer will have to do. Took me a while to recreate that logo :P

The skybox is a custom one made for CS:S called mpa_zombie2. It's pretty neat looking, especially since it's one of the very few publicly released skyboxes that fit in with the original storyline's atmosphere. http://css.gamebanana.com/textures/161
I got bored.
Apoc told me to drop a duce here
Wow, I would love to see a full fledged custom map like that
Neat concept, but for some reason pilotable combine machines don't sit well with me in the HL universe. Plus, as with all combine enemy technology, the enemies you face(soldiers, striders, etc.) are fused to the weaponry/developed into the machines themselves.
What if maybe they have a human that looks like the naked combine soldiers inside it, fused to what would be the cockpit? They could then have a character figure out how to make it pilot-able after forcibly removing the dead soldier.
Think of the Stroggs in Quake as example. Noone of them drives stuff.
If you go by Quake Wars they do, though that's for multiplayer purposes
If you guys wanted humans controlling the mech. It would be more of a brain with its nervous system wired. and drugged up

It needs to be fixed at the code.
Okay, now that looks familiar.
it's d3_citadel_01 dm_lockdown: [editline]10th August 2013[/editline] VVIS and VRAD decided not to crash this time when compiling.
Porting things from retail to the leak? Oh my! I used to do this myself. Still not sure why really.
Porting things from retail to the leak? Oh my! I used to do this myself. Still not sure why really.
Like into Hl2's campaign? I tried it once but got dicked in the head
Porting things from retail to the leak? Oh my! I used to do this myself. Still not sure why really.
I am personally doing it to see what it would do in the beta, most crash.
Like into Hl2's campaign? I tried it once but got dicked in the head
Yeah, the Half-Life 2 Beta and the Beta Hammer really dislike retail maps, only a few run.
Is MI still actually being worked on? Gabe's love tub seemed to be pretty much dead last time i checked, so i thought the mod was too.
Yes. Our forums might be dead, but there's only so much you can post anyway. There's still some activity on our Moddb page. I can see why there isn't too much activity when we haven't really shown anything in a year.
Missing Information needs a second generation ones that lives in their moms basements so they can release episodes quick. Sure we don't have as much time as we used to have, but we don't have a particular large team either.
I am personally doing it to see what it would do in the beta, most crash. Yeah, the Half-Life 2 Beta and the Beta Hammer really dislike retail maps, only a few run.
Yeah, that's why we did it as well. It's a great way to see what crashes and what needs to be fixed in the code. The leak maps are way too different to be used with the engine properly.
Is there a way to convert v36 and v35 models to v37?
