Half-life 2 Cut Content - Is it me or dose the cut content look better than what we got?

Valve caught a plot-hole behind the development process. Typically they had these levels planned out, but they also decided the combine would taint the humans food/water supply with chemicals that wouldn't allow reproduction. Then they were like, "Well then why do we have this whole facility with child workers?", etc etc. It just didn't add up, so the children, the facility and everything related to that was forced to be cut out.

I see another reason to no children, the morals of First-Person Shooters (But Fallout has children in FPS, is that bad? Well, they had to compensate by making them kiddies undying...)

Demons on fire and flying Cyclop heads (Cacodemon lookalike) are the first things that remind me of DOOM, I've yet to see Pentagrams (and a HUD with the character's face showing how healthy he/she is) in later previews

the hydra worked, it was just super boring. it's cool to look at for a few minutes but other than that it's pretty pointless.

I'm just wondering if the Hydra would've worked if it was featured in the game into a similar fashion the Tentacles were an obstacle/boss in the original Half-Life. Heavily scripted, yet functioning in a way. That'd make them (if more than one tentacle were used) a boss of the sorts.
I can imagine going through the sewers and certain parts of the canals in a section designed for the Hydra and it'd pop out of the sewer pipes and various holes in the ground to try and attack you and the nearby unsuspecting Combine Metrocops. Using the world and the props around you to avoid it or distract it.
Who else likes the look of the OICW more than the Pulse Rifle?

The only time I remember a Stalker technically attacking you is if when you walk into their beam or during that bit where you try and activate those platforms when you try and fix the core.

I think there's a law which prevents the death of children to be present in video games, it's why you can't kill kids in Fallout 3 and Skyrim
I don't think it's technically against the law, but what game studio in their right mind would proudly claim that you can kill children in their game? Also yeah, Fallout 3 had children, but they were protected by that unkillable NPC effect that other, more plot-driven characters had.

The OICW actually looks like a AR, while the Pulse Rifle looks weird.
I love the OICW skin and I use it alot in HL2. I'd wish someone retextured it, it needs LOVE

OICW looked like a generic military gun. Pulse rifle looks alien.
