Wait, but if the physgun was purely a test, why would Valve bother to give it its own model, with animations no less? Just for that one E3 03 presentation?
it could of been a older model for the Gravity Gun, though this could be wrong, as the Gravity Gun has a early texture in its folder.
Wait, but if the physgun was purely a test, why would Valve bother to give it its own model, with animations no less? Just for that one E3 03 presentation?
The same reason why Valve scripted the E3 maps to oblivion: show-off.

Well, the phys-based pistons work pretty good and smooth, can't really say it's not animated without knowing. Erm, if it's stretching anyone's page (it seems to), sorry.
My mind is kinda giving me ideas using your vmf... but of course I wont touch it unless you allow it.
Why would I upload the vmf to then disallow it? You can use it. =)

Is it powered by displacements?
Is it powered by displacements?
Bwahaha! *sheds a tear of laughter* That's how mods die, y'know. When their authors are being trolled.
Bwahaha! *sheds a tear of laughter* That's how mods die, y'know. When their authors are being trolled.
When a guy like me is working on 6 different chapters, a mod hardly dies.

In all serious though it looks nice.
Hm. It appears that d1_palace_01 was to give player the physgun, a healthkit and three rocks (weapon_brickbat) on start (not the info_player_start point though, but what logically should be the spawn spot). Now that would be pretty fun to battle with against Combine troops and a gunship. Sorta disproves the 'testing only' role for the physgun, seeing as it is the Brickbat that was the actual predecessor for Gravity gun, rather than the physgun.

Lol.
Frick. The HL2 Beta download is broken every time I download it. The file contains a bunch of other files requiring a file program(like WinZip or 7-zip) to open it. But when I extract it, it says the file was corrupted. I also tried the HL1 Alpha they had, but it was 2 files, a readme file which actually had no instructions, and a bin file. I'm not really sure on what to do with it.... Unless I somehow downloaded the wrong thing, but there is no way that's possible, and I also tried making an account on that site, but the same results happened.
Get WinRAR like a normal person and you will be fine

What community fixes?
What community fixes?
Eh, I can't remember right away but I think there were some minor engine dll fixes or what to allow the game to work on modern systems. Something like that. Though it works for me w/out them.
Get WinRAR like a normal person and you will be fine
I would, but WinRAR costs money. And I know that you can actually just close the box that prompts you to buy it, but I already have another file opener that suits me. Also, someone gave me a link that fixes the download.

I use that too.
I swear I dont understand the Borealis campaign. Supposedly, there are 7 maps, but it looks like the player is going back and forth over the ship, passing through the same locations twice. Wtf?
A different file opener, like 7-Zip. I use that too.
I actually do use that. But anyways, I figured out that Google Chrome broke the link. Launching it on Internet Explorer fixed the problem.

Wtf?
It becomes a bit more clear when you look at that map… err, borealis_untouched or something. One giant map of the whole ship. And yeah, the player circles the ship and it does hurt my head.

Idk if you guys still care about unused content but it had to be put on hold because I got my wisdoms done and as a result, talking for more than 5 seconds hurted Everythings pretty much healed and now I can resume the narration bits
Are you a voice actor?
I wish, I don't think my voice is good for voice acting but I like to do all my videos in my own way
So, should I use H.D conscript models, or the ones straight from the leak with Citizen heads hacked on?
