I was dominating for a while, but then I ran into the #2 spot when I was split in 4, and they had gotten the people I was hoping to get, so I ended up losing half of my mass. Decided to feed them and give up. I'm glad it shows my saved high score rather than my current score. Unless if the score is just a total people eaten rather than for your biggest mass? I don't know.

I was playing earlier and I never eat anybody, but I went a while without collecting bits, then when I did find more to grab it took several before my score started going up again.
