Splitting needs some balance imo. Makes midgame nearly impossible.

I like to incorporate some natural selection while playing. I'll get a cell big enough to hide inside one of the spike cells, but not too large where it'll explode if it eats someone. Or I'll get one that's just big enough to fit over the spike cell and not break it. Then I'll lure a larger cell toward me and get them to explode. Doesn't work as well as hiding inside the spike cell though.

W boosting is REALLY powerful as a large cell. Repeated mashing of it loses barely much mass while making you far more agile than you have any right to be. I used it to chase down the number 4 AND 5 guy on US West to become number 1 as cancer from number 3. Then I divided myself rapidly because number 1 got boring. Plus, if your prey tries to boost to get away, he's only feeding your boosts anyways.

I don't get how the spike things work, as long as you fit inside them can you hide there indefinitely?

Do they reset the servers after certain amounts of time?

So err who was the big facepunch that just ate all of europe? I was the slightly smaller facepunch that was part of that mess.

if you're bigger than the green spike then you'll explode if you're smaller it can be used as safezone

I kept getting annihilated whenever I played as Communism, Socialism, Ingsoc or Stalinists. And then I renamed myself to "Wall Street" and got to second place. Ladies and Gentlemen, I have proven that capitalism is superior.

I was playing as Esidisi on US East, got #1 until the server reset. The big guys tend to split into smaller balls, so if you're bigger than one of the smaller guys, you can pretty much swoop in and eat them all. Fun game.

I was literally this close to becoming the king of the universe, me and Steam splitted at somewhat the exact same frame, and he realized that we were close enough that one of us had to unsplit at one point, and eat the other one he wasn't thinking clearly and our movement made his smaller blob be in front of the bigger one, making it impossible to connect, while my bigger one was in front, making it easy as heck for me to connect into one huge blob and eat him whole but these servers crash way too often [t]https://a.pomf.se/hdsfmt.png[/t] [editline]3rd May 2015[/editline] my tactic: fuck around the virus blobs and use them as shields when the big ones take notice of your existence, and fuck around in groups - most of the players refuse to split if theres a chance for a third party to eat them up. And if they do, they won't do it in their next gameplay. the end-game meta and constantly figuring out when to split is my favourite, outwittigin ppl in the top leaderboard is quite easy if it's their first time - they get too greedy hella often the press q to poop addition is pretty weak, it only delays the inevitable althought i cna sense potential in feeding a fat fuck who's sitting between 3 viruses
