Spikes can eat the mass players eject, and when they grow big enough, they spit like cells. They've got great velocity too and the direction the new spike goes can be controlled.
Just took out the number one dude twice as a small guy.

Goddamn I took it a split second after I was moved down from #5.
spitting is way too fast you cant react to it
So I throw a spike at #3 sanic, pop him, and grab from him what I could, knocking him down to #5. I got pretty big from eating him too; We were the same size after the feeding. He must have been pissed. He kept chasing me, even after I gave him prey to make amends, until #2 Your Sister came along and presumably ate us.

confederate was in 1st place for a while, eventually I was able to get one of his blobs after a split and took over until the server reset

this time i outsmarted the #1 spot by baiting him into launching into a spike ball, and when he was trying to hide all his little balls i launched myself in between the gaps of his larger balls and ate everything.

I was fucking dying when these two big guys were chasing me and one split but didn't realise that he wasn't that much bigger than I so I ended up eating the both of them.

Was using this to snipe big guy, but then the server reset and Q and W got disabled :tinfoil:
Does anyone else get massive input lag or is that just how the game handles?
Or maybe they could add an AUS server.
