Yeah feeding a virus 7 times splits it, making the split one fly off a ways away in the same direction the 7th shot was going. Makes for some nasty guerilla tactics by smalls/tactical battles between huges. Also if for some reason you're huge but split up a lot and at risk of getting absorbed piecemeal, aim your mouse at your largest blob and spam feed. You'll still lose some mass (the large blob is either pointing out away from your swarm or feeding into an imminently eaten blob) but not nearly as much if they back off or overestimate how big they'll get and get countereaten.

Now I gotta know. What the hell does agar mean? Or maybe agario?

Agar is one of the main components of growth mediums for cells. It's called like that because it's made of Agar-agar, a seaweed. Because it can be gelatinous at room temperature, easy to get, and contains many of the common nutrients needed by all cells and bacteria, it's one of the most common growth mediums, both in solid and liquid state. Basically in the game you are a cell in a petri dish.

No skins have been removed as far as I can see, at least the Swastika and USSR skins appear to still be in the game. My only real complaint with the game thus far is how there's no real defence against someone splitting to eat you up. You don't usually have enough time to react or split yourself off to avoid death. Pretty fun game otherwise.

What's the benefit of spitting? I copied my name to be "Lil<someotherdude'sname>" and just followed him around feeding him with spit. I don't see any other uses for spitting.

I'm feeding the shit out of the viruses on US West. Fucked up a few big cells already. This is fun! Also why did the dev change "Score:" to be static? Go to the options menu when you start a new game/die, and you can enable it to show your current mass at all times.

I was "Sun" on US east for the longest, I had other cells that would circle around me and feed me. Spent like 3-4 hours playing and I don't know why.

My game gets incredibly laggy when I gain a large mass, it's very annoying as I always end up running into a virus because I can't change directions in time. Anyone else getting this?

Got to 2000+ but died because the game is so extremely fucking laggy in Australia it kept steering me into spikey balls and there was literally nothing I could do Goddamnit that was the best I've done

Splitting is fine. As a large blob it makes so vulnerable to slightly smaller blobs. I managed to reign supreme as Scary Spice for a long while before the server got reset/crashed. I love/hate how once you get into the top five it feels like you're on the small council in Game of Thrones- each of you going after the other but making temporary alliances to take down bigger guys. A tip I'd give is that, once you're big, keep someone slightly bigger than you in your peripheral and go after them when you see them split.
