I've found it's actually more relaxing running around trying to feed people with W without dying than it is to try and eat everyone. Best part is most people catch on and leave you to your devices. Unless they're Brazilian, they're terrible.

This can be abused to send a virus into the core of a much slower and larger blob causing it to split, you can then swoop in and eat his little mini blobs.

After playing this for a couple days I can somewhat 'see' other player's mass and know who couldn't kill me by splitting and who could.

Got to be #1 with a score of 4000. I was so big I could split and the next biggest person still couldn't eat me. It got sort of boring, but then i noticed something; the other players started working together. There were "feeders" who would eat motes then either suicide or spit blobs into the next highest ranked player. I was quickly overwhelmed, I had to split up and take out the "feeders"

Earlier I was in class and found a little Facepunch and tried to split myself so he could take all my mass but he was reluctant at first. Eventually he got all of me. For the greater good.

When you get eaten by an infected blob you respawn as one yourself. Healthy blobs may eat smaller infected without penalty. If infected blobs launch a virus that virus infects the cell that eats it instead of popping it. Healthy have to survive for a set amount of time.
