If the guy is bigger than the spike and is at max splits he can eat it and grow in size without splitting again.

Just did pretty well as Make Us One, got first in scoreboard for a few minutes until I accidentally pressed space due to nervousness, then exploded and got chased down to the end of the map and absorbed.

The Gay Agenda went on to attempt to feed Clive Palmer (a really fat Australian politician, represented by a small blob in the same round) all of its mass, however, Clive Palmer, stupid as he is, managed to corner himself and despite giving him half of The Gay Agenda's mass (almost), The Gay Agenda ended up eating Clive Palmer instead of the other way around as intended. The Gay Agenda truly is unstoppable.

I tried to pop the #1 with virus launching, but he just broke into still-large pieces and fed his mass back into the main blob. You shouldn't be able to eat your own mass ejections.

I was #3, #2 and #1 were in a corner with me. #1 was in two pieces, one as large as us and one smaller.

I realized none of us could eat each other, so I started moving towards #1's smaller piece.

But then the idiot playing #2 split in half for some reason, feeding #1's bigger piece, causing him to eat both of us entirely.
Way to go, (unidentifiable japanese characters), good job.

On the other hand, there was a previous time I played where people kept splitting up to try to get me, only to end up smaller than me and feeding me instead.

This game is frustrating and fun.

I use mass ejections as bait against smaller players and your suggestion would completely ruin that tactic for me

Ahhh. That one fluke where you plan to eat one piece of a guy in a split, but end up being big enough after consumption to consume the other piece of him.. Then the other piece.. And then another piece, bigger still.. Until you reach #1 because a chain reaction of expansions goes a SUPER long way.

Me a while ago. Stayed there for quite a while until server reset or switched me to a place where people seemed to play a lot better. Could barely break top 10 after that.
Eventually gave up and joined the Dick Johnsons and helped them take over.

A minor thing i reckon should be balanced is the amount of globs it takes to make a virus launch.

if you're a small, nimble blob, by the time you break up a larger blob you aren't big enough to eat the fragments that it splits into.

If you're a huge blob and you've split to eat someone, then find yourself trapped by another bigger blob with loads of little medium blobs that are trying to eat up your smaller parts, I find it a good tactic to just spam feed my self in a corner, so I'm left with one or two huge blobs and like a few smaller ones. That way, it won't be a domino effect of some asshole medium blob coming in and slowly eating all your mass.
