lads, you're asking questions that have been answered so many times. do a bit of reading. max split is when you're massive and you press space until you don't split anymore. there's a limit in the game that only allows you to split so many times before you can't. when you're at that stage, if you're big enough, you can eat viruses. it's dangerous and not something you wanna be doing, cause all it takes is one small blob to come in and he can wipe through your entire mass. and spike balls are viruses. you press W to spit your mass at them. after 7 shots, they grow enough to split and shoot out in the opposite direction your mass was going in.

You've got balls, friend. I'm always really hesitant to split, especially to loads of tiny blobs, cause it makes it so much easier for some medium-sized asshole to come along and eat you up entirely. Last night I was a huge blob on FFA, and I got cornered whilst I was split up, and this medium blob was gonna devour me cause I couldn't hide my smaller blobs in the corner, so I knew I was fucked. I'd been feeding this one dude throughout the game every now and then, and he'd stuck by me eating up small enemies and chasing off blobs who'd try and shoot viruses into me. Anyways, this final moment before I died, I saw him shoot into a virus to try and kill the guy coming towards me, but he didn't have enough mass. I died straight after and I felt so bad, cause I should have given him more mass instead of being greedy. It would have saved my life.

Another good point with having a couple of friendlies on the server means that if I get hit by a virus I send all my small splits into the friendly who then usually sends me back some blobs to make up for it and I don't have to worry about getting chain-eaten

If they get split and I try and eat them, they think I'm stabbing them in the back. But if I manage to eat one of their blobs, I spit it back out straight away to let them know what I'm doing. After that routine is set up, it saves you so many times. Big blob feeds smaller blob until he's big enough to split-eat an enemy. Split smaller blob then feeds you one of his splits and you spit the mass out. Rinse and repeat for tonnes of mass.

I get to around 350 mass and then I hover near virus fields. This shithead clan 18-25 was on my server, and they were really arrogant. I almost singlehandedly brought them down, cause I kept firing viruses at them, eating enough mass to get back or above 350, then going back to the virus fields. I got so many people with viruses, and I'd either eat most of their mass to regain what I'd lost, or they'd get completely devoured by some dude. Feels good hitting big guys right in the dick.

Can definitely attest to making friends being the best part of this game. I managed to hit [URL="http://puu.sh/hNRvv/3f9847f9d1.jpg"]12.5k[/URL], and some guy named "Help 4 Help" was looking a bit small. Threw about 5-6 into him, he pushed one back. He then followed me for a bit and popped a guy in front of me, making me hit even higher mass. Definitely gave him 10+ afterwords. Then there was the sad story. I had a dude cornered who was a string of 6 ~600mass pieces. He desperately pushed W into the corner as best he could, but I split and ate most of him, except one piece which had ended up inbetween my two huge pieces and the border. I felt bad about devouring most of him, so I gave him roughly 10w's and went on my way. About 15 minutes later I saw him again, but he had died and was really small. After being top3 for so long I got bored, so I gave him everything I had. Also noticed a blob that was going around as "#bestGirl" who was purposefully feeding anyone who had a popular animay girl as their nick. Fed [url=http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/14/140206/3080873-7100729833-13657.jpg]"Misaka Mikoto"[/url] multiple times. It was cute, because even as 100 mass he ran into me at 9k+. Tried to W him once or twice but he just ran into me anyways :v: This game's so much more friendly than League.. Always find me on US east around nighttime as "Shinobu Best G".

I always play as "Rider", so if you see a blob with that name it'll be me :^)
