I have an NES (with light gun thingy + two controllers), SNES, N64, and a PS1 hooked up to an old CRT TV in my room, in addition to a Gameboy, and two Gameboy Colors (are they counted as old now?)

They are now. God I feel old, seeing the PS1 and Gameboy colors are considered retro.
this is my little collection. we bought these all new when they came out thanks to my uncle who worked at a electronic store. i know its nothing before the NES but its something i guess

I was going to be pissed off if I came in here and saw everyone talking about N64 and PS1
I feel left out because I was raised a PC Gamer. :smith:
Tetris on that original Gameboy...
Is it possible to die from nostalgia overdose?
Well I just set the difficulty on Gradius III from easy to normal and I started throwing f-bombs like crazy.
SOMEHOW, I managed to make it to Stage 3 before getting killed instantly. They don't make games as challenging as they used to.

There's also a VHS player to the left :v:
fuck everybody else gamecube is where its at
This thread is making me cry from the nostalgia.
My collection:
NES, SNES, N64, GameCube
GameBoy, GameBoy Pocket, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, GameBoy Advance SP (still missing the Micro).
I have more, but I don't think they're nostalgic.
The SNES I have today was the one I got originally in 1996. I still love it an play on it frequently. That console was also the reason I got into gaming in the first place.

Is it really as bad as they say it is?
I've been playing on my PS1 a lot lately, games including Driver 2 and Rollcage Stage II.
I fucking love those games.

It's a great system, but I wouldn't consider it to be retro.
It's last gen.
Retro PC gaming is awesome too, although most people's brains melt at the controls for System Shock 1.
Is than an analog TV? Oh god.
this is my upstairs room and that tv is 13 years old and its the best tv ever made. it doesnt have one problem with it and its perfect for old games. also you cant really play old games on a 42 inch lcd samsung tv.
There's also a VHS player to the left :v:
yeah it came with the tv along with the entertainment center. bonus i hooked up my old surround sound to all the consoles. ocarina of time and majoras mask have a surround sound option how weird is that?
I wish my family had kept hold of our old analog TV, there's a limit where consoles start requiring them to be playable. I think the atari 2600 era and stuff like that.
There's also a VHS player to the left :v:
Have you noticed that since DVD players came out, people started saying VHS player instead of VCR?
Super Nintendo is the best console

Heh, I play on a 37 inch lcd Samsung tv. The quality isn't that bad, although I bet it would be so much better if I got an s-video cable.
<--- also reppin
Why did I sell my PS1.
Why the fuck did I do that.
Still have a PS2, backwards compatible.
But the memories of playing a REAL PS1 will never come back.
I found a Super Nintendo in my brother's bottom drawer, with a controller too. But no other wires or plugs.

You should pick the leads up if you get the chance, they aren't too expensive and it's a fantabulous console.
I had no idea the Game Boy Color was capable of such advanced graphics.

Wow, that actually looks pretty good. Also bidding on a Spectrum, how would it rate against other computers from that era?
