In other news the cassette player for my Spectrum arrived, meaning everything is now ready except the actual computer. Argh.

I kind of want to buy a N64 again. I find emulators are just nothing like the real thing and often glitchy.

I just played Donkey Kong Country on the SNES with my sister again.
Christ, the memories...raging over the fucking mine cart level and getting killed by King K. Rool due to the sudden foreignness in the SNES controls. Still, it was fun, but hot damn did it get annoying at times.

Next up, I gotta find DKC2 and then DKC3.
We never finished DKC2, now that I think about it. We gotta play that too :3

also, i recently started buying retro gamer magazine and it is absolutley awesome, they have specials that are about 250 pages for around £10, you should definatley pick one up

In order to play a game, you must first plug the cartridge into your Atari 2600 so your onboard memory is expanded, then play the game into the cartridge using a cassette deck.

Edit: Also, the rest of my games. No need to say what consoles I ahve. If you see a game for it on the shelf, I have that console (excluding the NeoGeo cartridge).

I'm actually nostalgic of Wolfenstein 3D. I wasn't even born when it was made, but back in 2003-2005, I was interested in old games and I would always make maps and edit the textures and sprites of the game. Kinda weird to have nostalgia about a time when you played a game that was a decade before your time.
