Newest addition to my collection would be an original breadbin C64 and an IBM AT PC.
Thank you for purchasing Nintendo Virtual Boy Console - Used, Mint Condition
Let the headaches begin.
Got a chest full of Sega Megadrive games behind me right now. God I miss playing them... sadly, the console is broken. :suicide:
It really happened o god [thumb]http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x282/icemaz/temporary.jpg[/thumb] Also it really gives you headaches.
I envy you, is it any good besides the headaches?
It's alright. It's without a doubt a lot better than I thought it would be but I can also completely understand why no one got it. I got it in near mint, everything in the box is perfect. Will be able to post better pictures at Christmas as it is apparently a self bought Christmas present :v:.
I'm working on collecting old systems and games but I'm more focusing on systems I had and lost as well as games before I move on to the other stuff. So far I have: GameCube (Got this from either Cash Converters or GameCycle) Sega Genesis (My boss bought me this for 20$ somewhere) Original Xbox (My other one bricked when I hacked it, so now I have this one which has a wonky tray) X360 PS3 PSP Wii DSi Gameboy Color (From my childhood, good times with pokemon!) Sega Game Gear (It's the only system I have that has survived my life time, everything else was lost) Playstation 1 (5$ at a second hand shop) Nintendo 64 (30$ at Cash Converters) Nintendo Entertainment System (I don't have the system, but I have several games for it) I keep track of my collection on GameSpot at this link if anyone is really that curious: http://www.gamespot.com/users/~self/games?tag=profile-nav%3Bgames-lists My collection has come to a halt however since money is at an all time low at the moment and I have been "grounded" from buying games. And by grounded I mean everytime I buy a game I get the dirtiest look of all time.
Can anyone guess what obscure Japanese console I'm obsessing over today?
Have a picture of the Virtual Boy and a small kitten.
Lookee what ol' Andaeeee got for christmas (8 pics) http://imgur.com/a/TJ9os#0 My avatar correctly displays my reaction.
I still have my N64 and I play it quite often. Have many games and I sometimes buy more, got a few controllers too.
I remember bringing my gameboy color to school and playing it on the playground. Can't beat that.
I got a Commodore 64 tshirt for christmas.
Jaguar CD add-on prices are making me sob, why must you be so expensive.
I once had a jaguar with 15 games for 20$ a nice deal ?! Shame it didn't work, they're pretty nice systems :saddowns:
the guy didnt had any batteries with him so I figgured for 20$ why not ? :( playing Battletanx on n64 right now
Anyone know the easiest way to hook up a 2600 to a Modern TV?

So I finally got round to reviewing the Virtual Boy on my site :v: check it out here -> http://gamefridge.co.uk/?p=29 Also here's a picture of the virtual boy with it's younger brother.
Been playing Resident Evil on my Saturn, it was one of my more rejected retro consoles. I have decently sized (Atleast 20 games) collections for everything but Saturn and N64. Been buying a few games to remedy that.

Speaking of old school gaming, I've been planning a little project for a few months. I'm going to buy an old arcade machine and repaint it. I'm going to order a custom decal to place on it. I'll replace the controls as well as the tv screen. I'm going to get something like a raspberry pi or old pc hooked up on the inside and then load up the machine with old classic games. It'll probably be a Castlevania themed arcade machine.

Raspberry Pi sounds good in theory but if there's something you want and it isn't compiled for Linux (and ARM I assume) then you're out of luck and it could be a while before you get what you wanted (but with it's popularity these emulators etc will come in time). Otherwise sounds like a solid plan I've been meaning to do the same myself :v:.
My brother managed to bring our old n64 back to life today! :v: Now we're just waiting for the third party controllers to get here and we'll return to all these old classics!
I'm probably just going to end up getting some old pc from Goodwill or see if my school is getting rid of any at the end of the year. Nes/Snes emulation doesn't require that much power.

Due to financial problems I cant continue gathering systems/games :( I cant wait to get back to Ravage the yardsales and markets :(
Ive been wanting nab some retro gaming devices from op shops and markets and refurbish them to like new, with original packaging and so on. Anyway I went to the markets today and came home with my first project, decided to start small and see how it goes. I got this for $15 (the guy wanted 20 but fuck that) it works fine and is a perfect candidate, After dismantling and cleaning with kitchen wipes and a nice WD40 scrub this is how it came out, Near perfect but the screen protector will have to be replaced. Ill post back when I have more progress.
I still play the SNES every single day. (Well, every week). I can never get enough of Killer Instinct, I rip shit at that game now... I've had like 12 years of experience... and I have literally clocked at least 2-5 hours a week on it. Fucking Eyedol is some bullshit right there, but he isn't too hard. Spinal is the most bullshit character of all ... he's deadly if you know his Combo's.
