This game is looking great, hopefully it doesn't get stuck in dev hell.
I've always wanted a game with a nice environment with different biomes where I can slap together a truck, go scavenging or mining, and then roadtrip back to a home

Interesting little main menu mockup too.

They're taking a public build to a Czech convention, should be interesting.
Also I'm loving the button and UI style, makes a difference from SE.
First vlog video up, talks about development so far. The game won the people's choice award at "Game access"

Nomadic Journals 3 is up, shows of "Build Vision" and the proper weather cycles.
I find it awsome how day length depends on where you are on the planet, and how artic days and nights are a thing. That means the planet is slightly inclined

It's so weird that this game managed to sneak under my radar for almost the whole year as I'm usually pretty up to date on alpha survival games like this. I have high hopes, looks like it will be a less blocky Empyrion.
I just hope the exploration doesn't end up like most other extremely open ended survival games where assets get stretched thin and worlds get predictable. It would take a mind boggling amount of effort to really spice up every type of biome (Underground, surface, ocean, space, moon/asteroid, interiors) and make each planet truly unique and not just a reskin of the last.

Late ass reply sorry.
25th of August is for the Alpha, sales open for about a week afterwards iirc, EA is around Q1 2017.
