The game will probably suffer considerably if Haxus is going to be surrounded by yes-men.
The results of the poll thus far say otherwise.
It's 27-16 now, I think there's a clear opinion.
Oh god this ResonKinetic guy, just read the first 2 pages of the thread if you want to know what I mean. Not going to take the shitstorm into this thread too.

Update: Thumbing them for now, because these numbers will keep rising. [img_thumb]http://puu.sh/fZF8K/b33f244f7a.jpg[/img_thumb] Update: [img_thumb]http://puu.sh/fZHkl/28726476a0.jpg[/img_thumb]
Damn I really wanted to try this out, but I found it a day late and now this happened I'd pay like $25 once but subscriptions always just leave me with that bad feeling that I'm wasting money when I'm not playing the game
Surely Haxus will atleast take the numbers into consideration? 70% of the voters have actually gone into the thread and said they won't pay, that still shows attention to the matter and shows that essentialy people want to play.
Surely Haxus will atleast take the numbers into consideration?
Doubtful.
Seriously though, People think your trying to incite something on the forums by holding a simple vote, jesus christ, the only one inciting shit is them [editline]16th February 2015[/editline] Neat new page, This is the page of the yesman community.
In all fairness it was only the one dude, a lot of the yes voters still came in and actually said that the feedback is valuable and could help haxus in the long run. It seems most people can atleast agree that the subscprition thing needs another look at luckily.
Nothing's changed though, it's looked like a few yes men were going to fuck everything for the past few days. Most of them are pacifist types, they probably won't miss the drop in numbers; they practically want single player Hazeron with some chat in the background. They are probably going to kill the game... if it looks like haxus is about to shut it down, I'll try talking to him to convince him to do a universe reset with a donation system and no subscriptions.
Made a little poll kinda thing to see how many people will buy it and who will not.
Threw in a post of my own, that Reson guy is too stupid to ignore.
I just can't see this working out for more than 6 months, unless it goes viral. That'll make it 12 months. [editline]a[/editline] Even tho it actually going viral is p. much a fairy tale imho.
It's pretty funny that he took the servers down because there wasn't anybody online, and now he wants to put them back up behind a paywall, ensuring even fewer people.
Informative if you'd pay $10 Friendly if you'd pay $5 Optimistic if you'd only play with donations because you are worried about player numbers. Funny if you wouldn't pay anything at all for Hazeron, ever.
Hazeron never had a big community, and it has little to no chance to grow with new members if they see screenshots (because lets be honest, it looks pretty fucking weird when you're new) and a monthly subscription.
If all the "yes" people that posted on that hazeron forum poll subscribe in the long term, he might actually have enough to cover the data center costs. The problem is the community withering away to the point where it doesn't cover the costs anymore because of the pay wall. It's possible he can cover the costs, and he was running it for free before, when it was much more intensive on server space.

[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13459825/NutsyStation.png[/t] Because it's that time of the year again. Fills up one entire deck, TL32. Here you go, use it for evil.
wait is the ship designer accesible without payment? I might go dick around in that lol.
I love how all those guys saying: 'Well if you are bored of the game for a while or don't have money to play it for a month, then don't.' Don't actually seem to understand that if you leave for longer than a week your empire will start to decay, meaning you are forced to pay monthly to keep your empire from decaying even if you're not playing. I used to make a empire, set up the basics then when I get bored I just leave the game for a week or two until I got time or felt like continuing my little personal 'playground / sandbox' empire to screw around in. That's really impossible now. You are stuck with paying unless you want to restart all over again. This closes off the entire sandbox building / playground appeal for the game which I had and only really makes it worth having a empire if you plan on actually expanding it. This literally ruined the entire game for me. I just want to set up little towns and factories and designs to roleplay with my friends in, each friend having their own house etc. Haxus is just closing off a whole part of the games' appeal for me, and probably for a lot of other people.
Well it appears you can log in now, not too sure if old accounts can work though or if you can add time. Would be interesting if he forgot to sort out the old accounts and they didn't have to pay by accident.

We have a few people [del]stupid[/del] dedicated enough to keep sectors from decaying for now. That and we were the galaxy's No. 1 drama generator for 3 years and counting.

We seem to have a lot of people playing, at least for the first two weeks. $5 to play the most dramatic part of a new universe? Decent deal, even if it dies after that. Add me on steam if you're interested in causing drama.
Haxus you classy basterd [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/WIRhNIB.png[/thumb]
is he literally unironically referring to himself in the 3rd person in that last section
