You can get +2 food bonus without even using animals just plant every food type except hay and hops. However hops is needed to make some alcohol.

So how in-depth is the race creation? Can I go entirely all-out furry and make a race of canine-people? Or, maybe, horrible fly/lizard mutations?

It's obviously not to the degree of Spore, but you can make plenty interesting(horrifying) things.

I haven't found a bone yet, do they spawn randomly from animals you kill? Also, what's the button to fly if you have wings?

I tried playing this but after creating the character I get a screen that looks like a warp or something like that... and either it will simply crash, or it will keep going forever...
