We really should move to a remote sector, build our strength, and try to avoid any of the shit near the hot zones. I have my planets in a nice equilibrium and I'm working on a massive colony ship based on the frigates from the halo series. Because they're blocky and will be easy in the ship designer :D

I'm trying to rapidly tech up. Highest I have is TL8 so far... thats on universities only. Someone gave me 100mil so I've been trying to ration it and research as efficiently as possible. I'm also searching all over for what I will need for an FTL drive. I'm building the ship to have loads of room and have a very very long range. I really need to TL up- I only have the vehicle bay and one engine nacelle done and I'm already at TL14.

What's an easy way to make money besides confiscation? Research is starting to get expensive and I don't want to start using my own money to fund it. I only have about 20m left in the bank for research.

Why does my ship not want to get repaired? I ordered it to do so, but nothing is happening (repair shop is TL1, just like the ship is) [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/CG71kDW.jpg[/IMG] it doesn't repair when I'm near my spaceport which is floating above the same city either. You can see the repair shop in the background, the building with 2 floors. Must I land closer to it or should it not matter at which slab of the landing area I land?

is it anchored and turned off? and are you broadcasting on the right channel? and each story of a building is considered its own building. 2 level mine performs like 2 mines with less jobs taken if im not mistaken.

What channel must I request repairs on?

This thread is vastly more helpful than the in-game chat <3 One last question for the moment, since the wiki is rather vague on it; is it worth building a solar power plant over other forms of power in a trinary star system? I'm not short of other fuels than hydrogen (which'll be soon rectified)
