Ah yes, Yiffweave! :v:
I've got one of those on me right now:

Syndicate is the galaxies number one supplier of Yiffweave™.
The favourite clothing of the developer, Haxus.
The construction of HLV Red October is done!

Now I just need to load it up with construction materials and start making self-sufficient colonies in other systems.

Does not have caterpillar drive, nor Sean Connery as commanding officer, -3/10.
Grid was shrunk in early 2011, by the toucan exodus in mid 2012, all ships of the old size constraints have died due to various reasons. (Also because we were TL31 when the grid got changed, we had to redesign everything anyway)
Huh, I know at least I had an old-sized-ship right up until we quit the game. Was it really shrunk early 2011?

Woo! It worked.
looks neat. Is the little ship some kind of gunship/escort?
looks neat. Is the little ship some kind of gunship/escort?
Yep, I can use it to scout out planets while it's parent ship can stay in orbit.
Holy fuck, can't wait to get into space and do something like that. Great idea.

And it actually stays with the ship during worming/warping and flight?
Hazeron has a pretty solid physics engine, all things considered.
Building placement seems to behave oddly close to the poles, specifically the alignment of roads seems to be off. When placing buildings, it registers the road in the wrong place e.g. one has to place the building on the actual road for it to recognize there's a road there.

Also got farms in snow :v:

i was very surprised when i first figured out everything orbits.
then i was even more surprised when i could get out of my seat in a spaceship while it was moving and not become a meat pinball.

There's relative velocities? Holy awesome
Considering how the player movement is so irritating to deal with, i'm much more tolerant of it now that I know the server is juggling around full solar system orbit models and relative velocities.

Aslong as the entire ship is inside another, it'll go with.
You could just land ships ontop of eachother before, but that was removed due to balance reasons.
yeah, i first noticed when i was doing outpost maintenance on an outer fridged world.
when i colonized it first it was right beside my home world.
when i set a course it was all the way across the solar system and took me 10 minutes to get to.
There's relative velocities? Holy awesome
Mmhmm.
Also, don't jump from your ship at lightspeed/warp speed. Your ship will literally disappear instantly because it'll be a bazillion miles from you.
Also, last I checked, you can park fighters on top of a ship and take them with you. We used to do that all the time with our last infiltrator. There was enough space on top of the bridge that you could effectively fit 1 fighter. If you were crafty you could fit 2. Would persist through FTL travel too. You had to put it there yourself, and you couldn't repair or refuel it without doing so manually, but it worked in a pinch.

So if I park a fighter on the hull and have at least 1 deck above it, I can't take it with me anymore? Balls.

I'm not sure about worming, but warping and moving works perfectly.
The ship doesn't fall off or anything, even at warp 9!

Is there any particular pattern to resource quality e.g. are there places where i'm likely to find good quality ore?
Is there any particular pattern to resource quality e.g. are there places where i'm likely to find good quality ore?
Nope, completely random.
Better start searching a couple of sectors.

as far as I know its a diceroll every time the system is genned.
Also we found our new home system, trinary system with 2 habs, 3 infernos, an inner, 2 outers, 4 frigids, and shittons of moons. Couple of q247+ resources, magmex, vulcium, whole shebang.
Still looking for my version of the perfect home system though. Binary/trinary system with 1 decent sized ring, and at least 1 of every other kind of planet + moons. Fukin sexy shit right there.
[editline]26th August 2013[/editline]
Also is there a faster way to make a sector-wide survey mission? I.E. Fly here, scan it, fly here, scan it, fly here, scan it until whole sector is scanned?
250ql stone on my moon and 220ql oil, thats good i guess :v: ?

I feel bad you're one Q away from TL32.
I was scouting out a planet with my big ship's little ship, and I found this abomination:

It looks like a horrifying mutated punk band member.

OH SHIT THEY'RE FOLLOWING ME

better safe than sorry
Tempora Galifreus is accepting people! just pm me (here or on steam) and we'll talk.

Does someone have a list of all the things you are able to do after reaching certain TL's with all your factories and stuff for spacecrafts?
I'm gonna make an empire, fuck yeah! Expect updates soon on what I call it and what sort of horrific dictatorship I enforce.

My first city from space :v:
If ZestyLemons, StrawberryClock and myself teamed up to create some sort of dessert themed empire, we'd be unstoppable.
I appear to have a complete inability to find oil.
I appear to have a complete inability to find oil.
I'm almost literally swimming in oil :v:
It's the only good-quality resource I have, so it seems to make more sense to make plastic armor than Q47 metal armor.
