Oh my sweet Jesus, this is lagging so hard I can't even believe it. My computer must be true shit in order for it to be so inoperable at this level of graphics. Any FPS tips?

Also, here are very rare screenshots of the first and only toucan cattle drive. so, a question for those who have warp capable ships. what is the best way to "land" in a solar system after going somewhere? just tell the officer to go there or what? i dont want to sundive a potentially irreplaceable ship.
Is it technically possible to find a world with QL255 in every part?
Is it technically possible to find a world with QL255 in every part?
much like it's technically possible to win a million bucks on your way to work
If you are in any of these sectors you are officially living in the ruins of the main cluster of the toucan empire.
Don't mistake the movement lag for FPS lag; they're entirely separate in their causes.
It actually is FPS lag, though. The interface lags, too, and it causes my computer to slow down. Just writing that last post took roughly a minute. It makes it rather difficult to get anything done, so I quit out during the tutorial so as to use the rest of my computer. :v:

In that case, i'd recommend turning down draw distances first; they suck up the most FPS for me. [editline]26th August 2013[/editline] I feel like a Middle Eastern sheik with all this oil :v: Q225, so not quite a very-long-term useful resource, but far better than the rest of the utter shite i've got.
I was trying to hunt a creature for its glorious carcass when a bigger creature ran out of nowhere and trampled it to death. Less work for me I suppose. :v: Also, the walking is really painful to control. I hope I can get used to it, because the game so far is looking awesome.

I'm on a temporary replacement computer. I really want to play. This has an inbuilt GPU and the shaders crash when I launch the game. Any way to bypass this?

You people complain about movement now, you're lucky considering how it used to be.
What's the max quality for mats? If both cities have brokers and are connected by warfs, can I make one city completely industrial and another city just full of farms, and their respective commodities will be shared between them, right (farm city sends food, industrial city sends building mats)? Can one single city cover an entire planet as long as it's connected by road? Can electricity be traded between cities? [editline]26th August 2013[/editline] You guys got me addicted to this game like at the worst time possible. I'm supposed to be planning my six month trip to Virginia (from Québec) and need to register for a few online classes for college while I'm away, planning transport, get in touch with someone who's supposed to give me a full time job over there, talk to the person who's going to host me and probably a dozen other things I forgot about. All that needs to be done within the next WEEK! Damn you guys! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL! :suicide:

Everything else can be shared.
I remember my first moonbase, I made a road that went all the way around the equator because fucking why not.
4) Power is never tradable, you always have to make it locally. Everything else can be shared.
Power is tradable by roads unless that was changed.
I can't wait to download this game once I get good internet and my new laptop. I just wish there was Mip-Mapping in this game :/ It looks brilliant fun, all be it very ugly. I can understand why though, I'd rather have a stable physics system than a good looking game that is annoying as hell.
So to work on a building, what do I do? Do I just sit on it, click "Work construction site" and wait?
I deleted my empire because I couldn't find any ore near my city, found ore on my second run but couldn't find any animals or trees to make a sewing kit for my flag. Now I'm on my third run looking for ore in the most massive forest ever.
Power is tradable by roads unless that was changed.
Yeah, but then if it's connected by road you might as well make it the same city.
Yeah, but then if it's connected by road you might as well make it the same city.
No, because there's also the fact that there's a resource zone population limit, you could have another city connected by road in a different zone and support double the population.
all this talk of high quality resources is making me jealous. highest quality thing I have is stone at q128 then crystals at 102. oil is 94 its really really bad
No, because there's also the fact that there's a resource zone population limit, you could have another city connected by road in a different zone and support double the population.
So, I don't exactly have to make three cities... I can have one city stretching across three resource zones and have the same potential size as three cities? Fuck yeah, simplifies reporting if I do that. [editline]26th August 2013[/editline]
all this talk of high quality resources is making me jealous. highest quality thing I have is stone at q128 then crystals at 102. oil is 94 its really really bad
Don't worry, you'll find your high QL goodies soon enough.
No, you still have to have a different city, but if you made a city on like 58E all you need to do is head to 60E and connect to the other city. You can also go past the resource zones with the cities as well. If a city is formed on R1, even if you head to R2 the city still considers itself R1.

If I start a city in R1 and build a mine in R2, does that mine have R1s resources level or R2s?
I haven't really bothered to check but I believe R2s.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/dJQAGa1.jpg[/t] Aww yeah. My friend and I were going to scout out a moon near us, he accidentally jumped out so I left him to die in space and landed on it. Didn't make it back to our planet, though. :v:
Been playing a ton recently. Here's a few screenshots: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/L88vlHy.png[/img_thumb] Dual ringed inferno planet.
