How many players are on the servers? Or is this that space game where its just one big interconnected web where anyone and everyone can meetup?
Yes. [sp]The second one.[/sp]
Ship works wonderfully for city transit :D One last thing, how do I stop my crew from casting off the moorings? I keep mooring it after landing, but the moment I leave the console they undo it. When moorings are cast off, does fuel get consumed?
If you really wanna keep it moored somewhere, tell the crew to rig for repairs. Everything gets shut down and it gets moored. However this unlocks all doors. If any systems are powered on, fuel gets consumed. The rate of consumption depends on the system. The "hold time" and "idle time" indicators on your ships spec sheet should help with that. Hold means the engines are in "park" (hit H when in helm or engineering). This will allow a ship to hold its position, but not move in any direction. I wonder if its still practical to make an "electric" ship. I.E. a ship with massive capacitor space, but a quarter of a square of fuel.
Yes. [sp]The second one.[/sp]
What is the single biggest meetup then? Now I remember there is Eve too. I saw a video of that weird protest people did with hundreds of people just shooting at some indestructible space station/shop.

I've seen as many as 80 to 100 online at once. Most people in one place? No clue. Trust me when I say though that the way the game currently is, having more than 10 people in one place is a sight to see. Mainly because it means shit is going down. Most I've seen in one place is I think... 10. And damn, that was intense. Tymas managed to defend a city against 2 TL28 battleships with nothing but rifles, EV suits, and healthy abuse of a berthaport bug that let someone take a berth on a ship in the design studio and port there. There were probably 6 of us, and 4 of them. Someone was in the studio just laying down heaps of hallways to boost the health of the ship that was there. Reason being was the ships hovering over the city were shooting it from realspace. We ported to them, left the studio, and held the city just barely long enough for someone to port in with a TL32 laser tower disk. When it was installed, he hopped in the chair, cranked it to full, and opened up on the nearest ship. 10 seconds later they called a retreat order and left, and we chased after them with F2s. One of them escaped, the other was speared less than 40k from the wormhole by the same laser tower.

Definitely investing in it when I move.
I found a pretty moon:
Avoid travel, Limbo is in effect.
Just think of it as uh a hyperspace flux that inhibits the natural workings of wormholes or something
Traveled 1 hour 10 minutes to nearby solar system, try to land on 'habitable' moon, dont even get near the atmosphere, explode. Such is life in lmaopics.
Is limbo still in effect?
Is limbo still in effect?
It's over. Limbo can last up to hours, a day, or 5 minutes. It's like Hazeron's version of blowouts.

I remember when that was just made, still love it.
How do you use the game table? I figured out how to start a game with tab, but I do not know how other players join, and when I choose to start either game the table resets.
Another player needs to be sitting in one of the chairs as far as I know. [editline]27th August 2013[/editline] And I'm settling an Alien World with Q44 Ore and Q49 Stone, no wonder they abandoned this place.
They are, but do they have to enter the chairs after you started the game or while you are busy setting it up? Their names do not get displayed in the menu when I tried doing it.
Not entirely sure, I think I'll try it out with Lord and see if we can get it working. Also, is bullion affected by the quality of the metal? If not I think I'll just spend a lot of the crap metal here producing it.

Yes, that's correct. Also going to just ship vodka to these guys before I build the airport, I really hate getting a -1 penalty despite the old race not even being on the planet anymore.
I can't open doors properly. I just hit E all around it and on it and its not opening. In other news, my flagship is finished!
I can't open doors properly. I just hit E all around it and on it and its not opening. In other news, my flagship is finished!
E is exit or enter, just right click to release the cursor and then left click the door.
I remember when that was just made, still love it.
and all i really did was record 21 seconds of the loading screen and stuff David Hasselhoff ontop of it.
Going to join the coalition by joining whatshisfaces empire tpain I think

In other news, my flagship is finished!
Hey either you or scratch, I need a ride back to Arulco, the game didn't set it as my home even though I pressed the button and once I got stuck in some shitty 3d fixture and had to recall home then got limbo'd and had to relog and all sorts of wacky hijinks. I've yet to finish colonization too and I haven't got one ship and not really sure how to get there so yeah, thanks in advanced.
PROGRESSION! [t]http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/9824/ssp6.png[/t] Pictured in the far distance: My airport, accompanied by a spacecraft and aircraft factory and a few hangars.
For your very first city, does anyone actually plan that shit out so everything is nice and neat? I mean unless I make miles long stretches of road into the wastes I have too many resources clustered together and thus have had to make all kinds of structures next to each other. Future cities won't have the problem of acquiring resources as I go so they can be planned accordingly, but it really does bother me when I look at my city to see houses scattered about with no central housing district.
