Wait you have to tell them to take the con and then they actually do their fucking job?
Yeah. Their only job is to do what's normally the player's job, so you have to tell them that you can't be arsed. Else they'd be wrestling control of a ship away from the player when you don't want them to.
I figured out how to fix that bug. You need to take a berth on any other ship, then take the captains berth back. Works everytime for me.
Did you tell the officer to take the con? They'll sit in the captain's chair always when you're not in it, doesn't necessarily mean they'll do anything.
How do I make the officer take the con? Last I played they'd just do the orders the second I left.
Oh. That explains everything.
How do I make the officer take the con? If you start a mission on a ship with no officer or the officer doesn't have the con, they'll do the first objective when you start the mission but the objective won't ever be marked as complete and so they'll be stuck on it. Giving an officer the con essentially gives them permission to mark objectives as completed.
Do airport terminals trade more resources each time when their tech level is higher? If so, I might just have to upgrade them as my remote lunar ore mining colony isn't transferring the new ore fast enough.
[editline]3rd September 2013[/editline]
Aw, automerge fail :c
Brokers buy and sell more resources at once the higher their TL.
Upgrading airport terminals might increase the max range of the transporters, but otherwise has no effect.
Within a day, the GRAND DUCHY of ORK was invaded and occupied by the Black Legion.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Croatia would be more than happy to help you any way we can, be it homes for refugees or tech aid if you start over
Fuck yeah, got my city to stop bitching for the first time and now I'm regaining the lost morale.
Probably won't last but hey, nice while it is.

So are taxes on citizens or NPCs?
I'm so sorry for your loss. Croatia would be more than happy to help you any way we can, be it homes for refugees or tech aid if you start over
We will gladly accept aid from the empire of Croatia. If you could send a ship to the coordinates I will give you later, we could relocate and start anew.
Good luck with that if you're anywhere 0,0,0.
We need to make one giant empire
The Third Great and Bountiful Facepunch Empire

PFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTT Organized? There is a reason there is no FP EvE corp.
Another day full of successful development. Capitol building's in place to reap taxes, citizens have their amenenties, so next is...well, I don't really know.

My goal is to figure out a wormhole path to you. There's one wormhole that would get me close to you but it's inside of a star..
My goal is to figure out a wormhole path to you. There's one wormhole that would get me close to you but it's inside of a star..
Oh that was you!
Yeah, hopefully we can figure that out sometime. I'd help but I'm not even close to being spacefaring.
Is something like (-49,-1,1) a decent starting sector? or am I near the shit storm?
you're in the middle of bumfuck nowhere bud
Is something like (-49,-1,1) a decent starting sector? or am I near the shit storm?
You are approximately 250+-20 sectors away from me.
I will invade you.
[sp]In my tl3 ship[/sp]
you're in the middle of bumfuck nowhere bud
bumfuck nowhere sounds good to me
Ohhhh, that's why the game was so laggy... it was using 6 gigs of RAM. :v:
Ohhhh, that's why the game was so laggy... it was using 6 gigs of RAM. :v:
I've maxed out my 8GB of ram in this game before.
I've maxed out my 8GB of ram in this game before.
I've had it use 80% of my CPU.. no RAM issues though.
I've maxed out my 8GB of ram in this game before.
I max out 8GB every time I run it. It's ridiculous, what the fuck is it doing with all of it?
Is something like (-49,-1,1) a decent starting sector? or am I near the shit storm?
You're 10 hours at warp 9 from the most populated sectors, and probably 3 days from Syndicate at the same speed. Consider yourself lucky.
You're 10 hours at warp 9 from the most populated sectors, and probably 3 days from Syndicate at the same speed. Consider yourself lucky.
Where might one find a map of the inhabited sectors?
I'm in Laern sector (307, 0, -1)

Old Syndicate space.
West of the galaxy. Only about 1% of people live there, the other 99% are in the east.
It's about 30 hours at maximum warp to the main cluster.
If you are lucky there might be some stellar syndicate systems left that you can loot for tech.
Ha, funny how he has to travel from the empty west to the east. That's the same path taken in Homeworld.

Deep inside the ruin, was a single stone that would change the course of our history forever.
On that stone was etched a galactic map, and a single word more ancient than the clans themselves.
Hazeron.
Our Home.
