It's annoying how I can't hold the captain's seat in more than 1 ship, so I often forget to request captain's berth when changing ships. So, I went to colonise an inferno planet, forgot to take the captain's berth [I]and[/I] close my visor, and ended up dying right outside the door. Didn't spawn back on the ship, had to re-build one of my quick shuttle designs to ferry me back there :c Today has been a rather shit day, but at least the worst is over with for now.

My friends have a new empire up, I'll probably start playing again this week. Apparently my character has 38 mil on it. Had more but my char autojoined some other empire and they confiscated private wealth, taking about 27 mil off me. Sucks. Anyway who should we be allied too? Haven't followed the thread in some time.

Finally reached magmium level. The source nearest to me isn't particularly good quality, but it'll make for more compact residential areas at least.

Flying through space in a helicopter is just hilarious. I hope they never change their space capabilities.

This game has some FPS issues...at least for me. Anyone know how to fix this?

What do I have to do in order to make a city utilize tech? I found some TL32 disks in a nearby star and sold them to my city. A day later, and none of my buildings are TL32

A day later, and none of my buildings are TL32[/QUOTE] you have to sell them to the building they are used by. and foreign disks only level up a building once per disk. so, using another empires tech disks you would need 31 disks to go from TL1 to TL32. also, if you sell them to the city and not the building the disks tend to spread out causing 31 buildings to be level 2 instead of 1 building to be level 32.
