Would you say one big gun, or many smaller guns is a better idea? And on the same subject, speed vs health?
that moment you realize you've designed your ship sideways after you waited four hours to build it.
A lot of people do that once. The important thing is never doing it again.
A lot of people do that once. The important thing is never doing it again.
The important thing is to never admit weakness in the face of your enemies. You name that ship the "Barn Door" and by the God Emperor you fly that in the face of your foes!

You don't make mistakes, obviously the ship is supposed to fly sideways. What is more terrifying than the sight of a ship slamming into you at full speed at it's side?
It's not sideways, it just drifts everywhere
Would you say one big gun, or many smaller guns is a better idea?
Well I was thinking more along the lines of being able to outrun/out maneuver enemy ships over the distance of systems.
Just warp around in system.
It's not sideways, it just drifts everywhere
Could always just call the ship "Need for Speed"
i had an incident. may have been some whiskey and a little limbo.
Silly question, do Cargo Holds need direct physical access to them, or can I just lock em up? Example: [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7939899/Images/Shores%20of%20Hazeron/ss%20%282013-09-26%20at%2012.49.09%29.jpg[/t] Cargo Holds all the way down on the brown rusty wall. If not, I'll just extend platforms out next to the ladders. [editline]a[/editline] Nevermind, Afromana told me.
before i logged off last night my ship exploded all of a sudden without any warning i'm pretty sure it flew into the sun when i wasn't looking thanks crew your the best
Crap, I'm two jumps away from a Russian system.
Which empire? Tacscan it.
today i was going to be productive. limbo says no. my entire empire has been in limbo for most of the day. but some of my characters i left in far away places arent.
Союз Независимых Колоний, they don't appear to be spaceborne yet.
My empire goes well. I have a large moon with plant life and such on it which I will be getting into colonizing along with a moon for eludium and such. I'm also even writing an anthem for it.
SODS can flip ship designs, for anyone who fucked up.
My latest ship design [editline]26th September 2013[/editline] oh god it looks like a grave sort of

new update looks pretty dope. the biggest rings will have 25 different panels and each panel has 3 resource zones and is basically its own planet. 25 officers and 75 resource zones for the biggest rings. only down side is new rings have a 1000 population cap on each panel down from 1500 so old rings are still better shipyards if you want to keep everything in one city.
It is a bad update, very poorly thought out. New ringworlds have up to 7 times the population/storage than old ribgworlds and 25 stations, potentially. Not to mention that you can get 25 officers from them instead. They aren't uncommon, we can go out and find a couple a day easily. Other worlds are kind of pointless now except as mining outposts.

Not only that, but imagine all the hundreds of laser towers you can have defending now.
So one could potentially raise a fleet of 25 ships with the 25 officers? This'll make wars rather interesting.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Id4Sn2i.png[/t] Best system.
I'm tempted to go searching for one now, but exploring in a wormhole ship is rather tedious. Going to wait til my universities get the tech up sufficiently.

[editline]9/28[/editline] it also looks like haxus fixed particle collectors not taking tesloid dissapators and nanopath calibrators. i was surprised to find my new particle boat wouldn't construct due to missing mats. to bad i haven't found/put effort into finding bolite yet. :v: i have the myrathane though.
I've yet to find any ringworlds sadly
