Joining NeoCAS is an extremely alluring prospect at the moment, even if it means abandoning my current empire and its beautiful dual suns. Basically all I want to do is assemble a large fleet of NPC ships under my control, and I am realizing that as a standalone empire, the chances of getting to use my fleet without bringing ruin to my empire are probably pretty slim. Also with NeoCAS I would (probably) have access to a full TL32 shipyard from the get-go, without having to spend the time to tech up and properly set up supply chains with the requisite QL.

Just Oil and Ore left and we can get TL32 Basic ships! TL27 with warp + shields TL32 with Wormhole + shields
If I where to join, could I assemble a fleet? Npc ships will follow you through wormholes and stuff, right?

The spacecraft mission queue list confuses me, or rather, why my ship officer doesn't complete the order and continues on with the next. I've tried Do Mission Once, Cycle Mission and both with and without Do-Once Order. [editline]22nd January 2014[/editline] Say I put up an order of moving through a wormhole to another system, then do a system scan. Yet the officer does not remove the move order from the list after having moved there.
Does the officer have the con?
Oooh, nope he didn't, haha. I was sure the officers had an automatic appliance to that when admitted to the ship.

I have noticed non-officered ships following me around in systems if I tell them to follow, but I'm unsure if they'll actually do anything other than follow. Turrets probably work, main guns are a mystery. The last patch allowed NPC officers to venture into unknown space without humans aboard.
