I'll see you there. Gonna say hello in person. [editline]18th April 2014[/editline] We can have tea aboard the space station. Say hi to the locals and all that. [editline]18th April 2014[/editline] Will you open your front door for me? [editline]18th April 2014[/editline] Nevermind, it was already unlocked. [editline]18th April 2014[/editline] In what other game can you just casually park besides a friends ship and visit him?
Progress report on the C.O.N.C.O.R.D. class ships. [t]http://puu.sh/8dN2J.png[/t] Three engines done. [editline]18th April 2014[/editline] Strawberry you should totally accept my friends invitation. [editline]18th April 2014[/editline] I am afraid my ship is going to go over the maximum tech level from the sheer size of the fucking thing

[editline]18th April 2014[/editline] I am afraid my ship is going to go over the maximum tech level from the sheer size of the fucking thing[/QUOTE] I had that problem when I built my massive ship, it was like tl42 or something ridiculous when I was done with just the hull. (I would've stopped but I didn't really notice it was that high until the end.)
[QUOTE=Firefox42;44579641]Where are you guys at anyway? The second ringworld?[/QUOTE] Yep.
That one guy we parked all our ships over is now online. Holt is in bed, Lordoflard is at a drag strip (full of strippers in drag, not cars), StrawberryClock is doing whatever Quebecers do.
Captain Mervenus of the NCEV Corona is now online, and ready to spook the the shit out of TL1 empires.
Man, all this talk of negotiations makes me want to get back into Hazeron. Last time I played was before the galaxy wipe when that NeoCAS was just getting off the ground. Any chance I could get an invite or something once I create a new character? Or is registration open-ish?

Last time I played I helicoptered to infinity and beyond. I've never really been able to get into hazeron because I never seem to be able to get involved with the group and/or diplomacy.

I stayed up until 6 yesterday. What were their intentions anyway? Murderous fiends or a bunch of SISSIES. Either way, I will be back on a bit later on my brothers laptop if he lets me. [editline]19th April 2014[/editline] Also all you people who want to get back into Hazeron, contact Cakebatyr. We have the technology and the hardware to be the strongest force in the galaxy, all we need is manpower. ENLIST TODAY WITH THE NEOCAS LIBERATION FRONT.
Started in a trinary star system, woo :D Solves the usual long darkness problems of being a gas giant's moon. [editline]19th April 2014[/editline] Turns out it didn't :/ [editline]19th April 2014[/editline] Whatever happened to the colony calculator? page 404's for me now. [editline]19th April 2014[/editline] Oh, it's changed location.
I'm almost done designing our spaceport. It should look pretty nifty. [editline]19th April 2014[/editline] It's going to be easy to navigate because teleporters everywhere (one for the lobby, one for the hangar and one of the bridge) but I'm making sure that there are maintenance access passages just so that the A.I. can navigate the station on their own. [editline]19th April 2014[/editline] So far the estimated cost is 750 million. [editline]19th April 2014[/editline] Nevermind, I had Vulcium armor selected. With metal it's only 11 million. [editline]19th April 2014[/editline] It's looking pretty good though. It'll still be boxy but I think it looks like a somewhat believable spacestation now.
So who else is super pumped for the design changes? It seems like he's going full-3D-modelling for the ships and also adding vehicle and item designers.

They need to do something to discourage 1-4 man empires. [editline]19th April 2014[/editline] [QUOTE=Mastermind of42;44588734]Did he reveal any info or screens on how it would look?[/QUOTE] I've heard it be described as 'Maya Lite' so fingers crossed its as flexible. You can also allegedly apply your own textures and insignias to vessels, AND plaster your ships name across the hull. More realistic dick ships inbound.
[QUOTE=Holt!;44588736]They need to do something to discourage 1-4 man empires. [/QUOTE] Single-person empires are just Spore. [t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/77/Sporebox.jpg[/t] Multi-person empires are Super-Spore.

[t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/77/Sporebox.jpg[/t] Multi-person empires are Super-Spore.[/QUOTE] Actually, speaking of Spore, I wouldn't really mind if this new ship designer was just lifted from Spore plus an interior creation step. Granted, what I'm hearing from this thread sounds better, but Spore's the next best thing if/when the current concept falls short.
I'd rather be able to design completely from scratch than have to use pre made shapes. I'd rather have the designer we have now than a spore style ship designer. [editline]19th April 2014[/editline] NSCV Spoon: Spacecraft destroyed. 18/04/2014 20:40:39 Collided with dark matter object. FUCK, I was on the way to get an officer to avoid this from happening.

cake why didnt you tell me that they were skagorians
[QUOTE=lordoflard;44588925]cake why didnt you tell me that they were skagorians[/QUOTE] Because I know we have a surplus of missiles and the surplus would have mysteriously disappeared soon after telling you :v:
cake i only blow up threats
We're short on just one grav coupling to make the station.
I think I'll get into this again. I've always wondered what it would be like to be part of a galactic superpower.
