Damnit Cake.
Who changed the government type and why?
Who changed the government type and why?
Only the President and Vice-President, can do that, right?

I'll log-in and see what's up.
Who changed the government type and why?
I did and forgot to change it back.
I did and forgot to change it back.
Mystery solved. What was the new gov type anyway?
Dictatorship, because poorly thought out reasons at the time (swapping you, merv, dracomundo around as vice emperor).
I didn't need to change government type to do that after all...
So if I wanted to go out colonizing, where would I get my ship/supplies and where can I do it?

But does the ship spawn in the drydock?
That is the question.

If you're with us? Precalculus, thats got the most shit. Just load up on flags, metal, wood and all that spiele and you should be good.
GOD SPEED
Really all you need is a fast ship (we can make some if you need one) and a flag.
Find a habitable planet and build up!
But I always bring enough resources to build an airport, broker, housing, farms and a smelter.
Place down a load of ore mines and come back in an hour.
I'm thinking of getting into this, any tips before I start?
Also, what does it take for me to get to a stage where I can join up with you guys and your Empire? (whichever one that is)
You can join up immediately but don't bother playing until after the next major update.

oh, okay. When is that scheduled?
I'm stopping work on the CONCORD until the new ships are out. Can't wait for them.
I don't really think the new ship update will change the game up all that much. I'll probably enjoy the new ships for a bit; then realize the problems in the rest of Hazeron's functionality then go back to not playing.

with planets, buildings, galaxies and ships out of the way, it will be time for actual game mechanic, functionality and optimisation updates.
hopefully.
Have they shown how the new ship designer will work?

I would be absolutely jittery if they could fix movement jitter/player annoyances. Perhaps rectify past wrongdoings that scared away big portions of the community..
*cough* [sp] decay properties [/sp] *cough*
Its probably never going to happen though..
Decay properties would be cool if it was more visual.
Ships growing weeds and rusting while the crew rot would be cool. Exploring abandoned ships would be neat.
Cities would do the same, depending on materials used in construction.

I meant something akin to making an alternative to protecting cities from decay.
Perhaps a propaganda system where the government would have to pay dosh to the cities/sectors in order to blast propaganda into the citizens eyes so that they dont loose morale for their glorious god benefactor ruler
Ships actually turning into a destroyed object would be cool.

I'd love to be able to salvage ships and derelicts laying on abandoned worlds or in orbit.
I remember back when I started playing, after the Toucan empire (which had a lot of FP players) quit, players were trying to collect their high-quality ships before they were lost to the void. They were lostech.
I was proud of the Power Armor I had that was made in a Forgotten Empire, one so old that its creator's empire was purged from the game's database. :v:
Shiver me timbers. I got murdered by space pirates
That sun straight up savaged you

Oh joy, limbo
Why does the AI have a fetish for crashing into my local star?

It must be a pretty hot destination.

yeah.
So, there was an update.
It's insane.
"Spacecraft will at least be limited to the size of a small moon, likely significantly smaller."
but he compiled in debug mode.
