Thats why we're producing rocket powered ships still.

Try warping to coordinates above the plane of the system, that's what Syndicate does and we ran 5 traders for 4 months without losing one.

We lost another shipment of eludium to the sun. Also the antiflux harvester.

Anyone mind inviting me to the game? Also, what's this I hear of us not being able to build ships, but still able to use files from the old ship editor? Have you guys considered using the old editor's standalone as a designer? I still have my game from September of 2013, if you need of it. EDIT: I think this version might be older than the singleplayer updates. But I remember playing it in singleplayer.

I have no idea what this rumour's about with ship designing - both the standalone designer from the launcher and the design studio in game still design the old style ships, it all still works, designed and built a new design less than a week ago. Did everyone forget you had to write the design to blank cd or something?

They are getting depreciated in the near future, click the middle-left button on the launcher to see the preview of the new designer.

Yes I know all about that, been following the screenshots thread for a while, even mentioned the new designer back on page 69 - but that's not ready yet. What matters is the ship system as it's implemented today, and everything still works. No need for 6 month old launchers, no need for workarounds. No reason to allow an incorrect rumour to continue circulating. The game has enough problems and bad design decisions without manufacturing ones.

This is my first time playing, but I made a new empire and started out in a location that I didn't really like, so being the dumbass that I am, I just deleted the whole race. I thought it would delete my empire too, but apparently it did not and now I can't use the name I want. Will the empires be deleted eventually if nobody is in them or is there a way for me to join back into the empire I made as the leader?

I literally only played this game for about an hour and I miss it already. Setting up my first city was pretty fun and I can't help but feel like I missed a whole lot of stuff.

This makes me sad. :c I had some great time with this game. I still remember the first time, killed my whole night, working through the tutorial/wiki. Hours later I had my first rocket. The feel of taking off into space was on of the greatest in all games I played.

This has to be a joke, please tell me it's a joke
