I swear i must have killed at least 1000 zombies bare handed by now. I've used bare fists for everything save bosses for the past week and i've been playing co-op, but i STILL don't have that outfit!
just knock it out in one go, get a trainer, pause time, kill with bare hands until you get it or sans trainer if you're cool with wasting time [editline]10:12PM[/editline]
elbow drop hordes and you get the outfit in like an hour
i had a lot more fun luring zombies to the rounded cafe in royal flush and smashing them on the surrounding rails. never ran out of them because they kept forming a line around me to have their heads exploded
I just had the weirdest dream about Dead Rising. I dreamed that at the end you rode you went to this locker room and found this oriental kid with a golden sword and nightvision goggles and that you tackled him and cut his head off. Then you go on your dirtbike and rode off while setting these farms on fire as you were riding, while these two rednecks were shooting at you. And finally you made it to the boat and drove away out into the sea. Then a cutscene happened where the two rednecks were talking and one jumped off of the lighthouse and died and the other was talking to Frank some how and they decided that they were going to jump together, but the man fell off and hit the ground and didn't die, like the other redneck, but you had to jump down and talk to him. Then you had to examine this electric fence and you pursuaded him to touch it and you got to watch him shock himself. Then there were chicken eggs you had him smash and these chickens popped out of nowhere and started to poke his eyes out. I think my medication makes me have these dreams. I am afraid to go back to sleep now. It is 6:16 AM.
Do you have to get a kill with the katana to get the Jason mask? Because I don't have the preorder stuff
Do you have to get a kill with the katana to get the Jason mask? Because I don't have the preorder stuff
nope just that list i posted [editline]10:41PM[/editline] i think the katana/sword thingy you get when you kill the twins counts
call me an outback dumbass but where the fuck is the DLC for PC also can you aquire all combo cards? I've completed the game twice and am missing a few that I can't find on posters or whatnot.
nope just that list i posted [editline]10:41PM[/editline] i think the katana/sword thingy you get when you kill the twins counts
The katana is in the list :downs: Also where is the training sword?
The katana is in the list :downs: Also where is the training sword?
In the theatre/stage bit in the Slot Ranch Casino (I think). It's behind the curtain and there is also zombrex there if I remember right.
Also is there an unspoken rule not to question why Chuck doesn't get infected?
The katana is in the list :downs: Also where is the training sword?
the twins katana, not the dlc ninja sword [editline]10:57PM[/editline]
Also is there an unspoken rule not to question why Chuck doesn't get infected?
PLAY DEAD RISING 1 seriously from now on if you have a question about the storyline's integrity PLAY THE FIRST GAME there's a reason this has a TWO in the title it's because you're expected to have played (but not required to have) the first game
the twins katana, not the dlc ninja sword [editline]10:57PM[/editline] PLAY DEAD RISING 1 seriously from now on if you have a question about the storyline's integrity PLAY THE FIRST GAME there's a reason this has a TWO in the title it's because you're expected to have played (but not required to have) the first game
The lack of xboxisty in my house kind of makes that impossible. [editline]02:03PM[/editline] After searching I found out that it's because [sp]the bites are deep enough[/sp].
huh what i don't think that's it in dr1 it's because frank had a natural tolerance which slowed the process, though [sp]in overtime mode he will turn if he doesn't gather the items for isabella to make the antidote, which still only prolongs it. so frank is most definitely on zombrex currently[/sp]
Well, he could just be [sp]immune, but then it's wierd why Katey isn't[/sp]
Well, he could just be [sp]immune, but then it's wierd why Katey isn't[/sp]
Only some genetic traits pass down to offspring, due to there being two gene donors :v:
If there was an immunity gene, it would probably be dominant.
uploaded this to show you guys who haven't played dead rising 1 what you're missing out on [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eU2ZqwHR5qU[/hd] [editline]11:28PM[/editline] and yes, the game DOES run that smoothly on xbox, and also yes, frank is that beastly with a chainsaw.
Wow I decided to fail the cases so I could do the Head trauma achievment in peace, but then I realized you need to get the katana, and knowing this game you have to go through that entire list of melee weapons on one playthrough. I think I saw one with Frank kneeling over a zombie and ripping it's fucking head off
just knock it out in one go, get a trainer, pause time, kill with bare hands until you get it or sans trainer if you're cool with wasting time
Wait what, there's a trainer that stops time with the updated version?
oh what a beautiful morning oh what a beautiful day [editline]11:53PM[/editline]
Wow I decided to fail the cases so I could do the Head trauma achievment in peace, but then I realized you need to get the katana, and knowing this game you have to go through that entire list of melee weapons on one playthrough.
In the theatre/stage bit in the Slot Ranch Casino (I think). It's behind the curtain and there is also zombrex there if I remember right.
There's also one in Food Court in that Medieval themed place. Training Sword + Nails = Sweet.
knee drop is infinitely better than body slam
Need Zombrex ASAP and I'm in Yutacan Casino, or whatever it is. Help, please.
Need Zombrex ASAP and I'm in Yutacan Casino, or whatever it is. Help, please.
on top of the centrepiece in the middle of the casino
on top of the centrepiece in the middle of the casino
thanks man. [editline]02:14PM[/editline] haha, oh wow. Why does everyone think the boss battles are hard? I just accidently initated the mail man one on the way to Katey. I wasn't prepared, and I beat him in about 2 minutes. Shit's easy.
That's one of the easier bosses. And none of them are hard if you are high level enough, they were mostly just hard near the beginning.
Fix the double posting already :saddowns:
I got into Overtime mode, did all the sidequests, and died on the boss battle, so I have to start overtime all over again. FUUUUUUUUUCK
Save?
I got into Overtime mode, did all the sidequests, and died on the boss battle, so I have to start overtime all over again. FUUUUUUUUUCK
thats what you get for not saving
this, and you should also just play it because it has a nicer feeling to it. the survivor ai may want you to punch a hole in your wall (as my wall discovered) but it really does feel a lot nicer. don't get me wrong dr2 is great but dr1 is a classic
alright thanks. i had dr1, but i just fucked around and killed zombies in it and didn't really pay attention to the story. on a related note, does anyone else think that dr1 had better stores? i think i've been in every part of the map and i haven't seen any weapons that stand out. it seems that like half of the stores are sports, handbags, or weights, while in dr1 i had no problem finding a cool ass weapon and kicking ass. hell, even dead rising 1's toy store was heaps and bounds better than dr2. maybe i haven't been looking in the right places, but i feel very underwhelmed in terms of the weapon variety in this game.
some things have been made more widely available in dr2, but considerably nerfed. the fireaxe for example. in dr1 a single swipe would obliterate any number of zombies in front of you, but they were a bitch to find. in dr2 they're everywhere and just hack a limb or two off one or two zombies, and they usually live. [editline]01:56AM[/editline] i feel like they tried to make it more realistic and ultimately that damaged the game
