What irks me is that a lot of the weapons and special moves are only really good for use on singular zombies, which is what you really don't need when you're facing hordes of them.
But they look cool. [editline]05:06PM[/editline] And for killing hordes you should get a electric chair
But they look cool. [editline]05:06PM[/editline] And for killing hordes you should get a electric chair
Zombie Head + Car Battery has got to be the best weapon for killing hordes. ever.
is the blitzkrieg any good also what's the easiest way to get the shaun of the dead outfit
is the blitzkrieg any good also what's the easiest way to get the shaun of the dead outfit
just start smashing zombies and body slamming into as many crowds as possible

just knock it out in one go, get a trainer, pause time, kill with bare hands until you get it or sans trainer if you're cool with wasting time
Wait what, there's a trainer that stops time with the updated version?

thats what you get for not saving
And there was a bathroom RIGHT next to the arena entrance. I didn't think it would be hard seeing as the one right before it was a piece of cake.
is the blitzkrieg any good also what's the easiest way to get the shaun of the dead outfit
The Blitzkrieg takes awesome to a whole new level. Especially if you make yourself look like an old man.
okay from what i've heard the story is a bitch and the best way to play is to forget it and level up in sandbox mode, right?

not yet afaik, but it can add or sub timr
I'll just leave this here. EDIT: How do I make the image smaller?
And there was a bathroom RIGHT next to the arena entrance. I didn't think it would be hard seeing as the one right before it was a piece of cake.
The nearest save point I found was the Americana casino. But you may take damage.
Wierdest use for a combo weapon: Make an electric rake, then throw it at a horde. Watch the results. It's like the damn thing is covered in astroglide.
EDIT: How do I make the image smaller?
Imageshack should have resizing options below where you put your email.

anyone knows the songs in the pause menu?
Alright, don't get me wrong, I fucking love this game, and I loved Dead Rising 1. But after having the game for a little less than two weeks, I've got a few issues between the two games. I just hit Level 50, and does anyone else think that Capcom fell short with the Skill Moves? Seriously, the "Pick Up" skill move that you get in Dead Rising 2 at Level 50, you get in Dead Rising 1 at around Level 25 or so. What the fuck? Also, compare the list of skills in DR1 to the list of skills in DR2. Those of you out there that played Dead Rising 1 can't say that you don't miss the Face Crusher, Disembowel, The Double Lariat, etc. The Karate Chop as well made Frank a gibbing machine, which was fucking loads of fun. Not only that, but in DR2, even with the attack skill maxed out, it still takes a good 5-6 hits to kill a zombie, which, is better than about 14-16 hits at a lower level, but man, I would love to be able to karate chop a zombie and have their head fly off of their body. My other gripe about the game is one that is up for agreement/disagreement. The Story and Psychopaths. Don't get me wrong, again, I love the story and psychopaths, but man, they feel really downgraded from Dead Rising 1. The psychopaths (excluding a few in Dead Rising 2) in the original were much more challenging than the psychopaths in DR2. The death cutscenes as well are toned down, there still are a fair amount of gruesome cutscenes, but just not as much as Dead Rising 1. The story was good, but it felt very rushed, and my connection with Chuck as a character had no match against the connection that grew as you played as Frank in DR1. Frank had much more of a purpose. Get in, get the scoop of the century while escaping from cultists and zombies, and most difficult, get out alive. For some reason, he felt like a much more followable character, not so much relate-able, but you get what I mean. And good god, did anyone else get the same feeling of suspense and panic when you would get trapped by a few Special Forces in Dead Rising 1's overtime? You knew you had to grab a bunch of shit to [sp]keep frank from turning into a zombie[/sp] as well as not get shot by a bunch of H.U.N.K. look-a-likes, while avoiding a few zombies, the Surveillance drones, and a goddamn helicopter, all under a short time? You've gotta hand it to Capcom, that shit was pretty intense, and it was part of what made Dead Rising 1 such a good story heavy game. It had the same feelings that you would probably feel if a real zombie apocalypse were to occur. Suspense, fear, and doubt that you'd get out of there alive. While DR2 had most of the same, it felt more like: Get in, grab zombrex, get out. The whole "find evidence to prove innocence" part of the story just felt... weak to me. There wasn't a whole lot of meat to it, and while it was indeed a main objective, I felt like it was only touched on a little bit, and I would've loved for it to be a priority over getting Katey zombrex, but I knew that wasn't going to happen. Overall, I still fucking love Dead Rising 2. Capcom did an awesome job, but I feel like they really left out a big base of players that were really into the story when they went for the more light-hearted side of the game.
elbow drop hordes and you get the outfit in like an hour
Do you have to do it in one playthrough?
Do you have to do it in one playthrough?
I don't think so. I achieved it after having killed around six hundred zombies in one playthrough. Throwing zombies in large crowds helps to speed up the process - the throw will take out between five to ten zombies.
They should port the original Deadrising for PC and PS3, for those who don't have an Xbox. I would pay around 30$ for a good port of it.
thanks man. [editline]02:14PM[/editline] haha, oh wow. Why does everyone think the boss battles are hard? I just accidently initated the mail man one on the way to Katey. I wasn't prepared, and I beat him in about 2 minutes. Shit's easy.
I think I actually retried the chef battle 10 times until I realized I could kill him in another, much more simpler way. Guess I was just too frustrated to realize it.
Question, when I beat the game, should I have a "Start Overtime" choice on my Main Menu, or do I have to go through all of story mode again? I don't have a choice to do it right now. :S
Didn't DR2 have a completely different developer? You can't expect a different developer to come up with better ideas than the people who made up the entire thing from scratch.
I think I actually retried the chef battle 10 times until I realized I could kill him in another, much more simpler way. Guess I was just too frustrated to realize it.
What way is that?
Well, he could just be [sp]immune, but then it's wierd why Katey isn't[/sp]
Its just like why [sp] TK is infected, both of them got bitten, but katey was bitten by her mother, and to the rusty, they had not made zombrex yet, and it would only be a 12 hour dose if they did.[/sp] [editline]02:40PM[/editline]
Question, when I beat the game, should I have a "Start Overtime" choice on my Main Menu, or do I have to go through all of story mode again? I don't have a choice to do it right now. :S
You have to give [sp]TK[/sp] zombrex in order to get the S ending, which will start overtime right after, theres no overtime mode, just continuation of the story which you have very little decision over.
Question, when I beat the game, should I have a "Start Overtime" choice on my Main Menu, or do I have to go through all of story mode again? I don't have a choice to do it right now. :S
It should start automatically IIRC That, or it lets you start by playing your save, and it also depends if you got S ending.
Yesterday I was knocked out by looters. I tried to be Chuck Norris and beat them without weapons but I got sprayed with paint and clubbed with a crowbar. Then I woke up in one of the bathrooms. It also seems like that looters can steal you bald. Yes you heard right, I made chuck a total badass SWAT-uniformed bald guy with sunglasses and they managed to steal Chuck's baldness. I just killed the mail order guy to get zombrex even though I could have just escorted the fat guy from the diner. At least I have an extra zombrex for zombrex 4
