If 1 account buys the Psycho DLC, is it shared on the other accounts on the xbox?
If its on the same harddrive. Not 100% forsure.
Wow, I bought the Psycho DLC with the leftover points I had... and it doesn't even try to install, at all. I've been on the GFWL forums and apparently tons of people are having that problem.
Holy shit it posted like 3 times, sorry the forums are fucking laggy.
so what exactly does the psycho pack do other than decrease damage and increase attacks from weapons? is that it?
The bite is just a gameplay element, story wise they (Frank and Chuck) never get bit, gameplay wise they get bit all the time. And bites to survivors turn them into zombies aswell (as shown by Katey and every survivor that you don't save that gets ganked by zombies)
Frank DID get bitten though, he starts to turn at the end of the game, if I recall correctly Isabella even says that Frank just has a better tolerance to it, he didn't get stung by a queen or anything, if anything that would make the transition faster. I really don't think the 'in the storyline they don't get bitten but in gameplay you can' holds any ground, you're GUARANTEED to get bitten in the game, at least once. [editline]13th October 2010[/editline]
Just beat[sp]the twins[/sp]and it seems the spiked bat was the best weapon to use on them.
Uhh no, knife gloves or lmg is the best weapon to use on any boss.
I dunno about that Rusty, [sp]I just killed Leon today with the Defiler, and it only took about 5-6 hits. Piss easy[/sp]
I killed every boss in the game with the flaming gloves because I didn't know about the knife gloves. :saddowns:
Just got to the Super Zombies, fuck their shit. And yeah I'm taking forever, I blame the polycount update.
Goddamnit exile Spoiler that.
I'm starting my second playthrough, I'm gonna go for the Hero of Fortune City achievement.
The defiler is pretty awesome, and you can make one right out of the shelter too. Kind of an upgrade to the spikebat.
^Ugh, I hate how slow it is.
^Ugh, I hate how slow it is.
When you hold down the mouse button, or X or whatever, It's about normal speed, plus it has huge range.
Just found a $100 credit card gift card unused from last year. Bought Dead Rising 2 within minutes. I can't wait.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GameplayAndStorySegregation
that holds no credibility as an argument you're reading between the lines and using it as an argument - it's a very poor one.
How? Chuck is never bitten in the story, so the story never recognises him as being bitten. How is that hard to get? [editline]13th October 2010[/editline] In GTA you can murder a thousand cops, but in the Story the worst you've done is kill a couple of gangsters. In Hitman you can massacre everyone on a level, but Agent 47 is still considered a deadly assassin than an insane butcher. In any RPG you can murder townsfolk and steal their stuff and still be praised as the hero of the world. This is no different.
Finally got past Snowflake and Ted without the game bugging out on me.
Perhaps I should have parked Frank away from the Robot Bear while I'm idling and surfing FP while I wait for 7AM to come around. "Hello, my name is silly bear!" "Can we be friends?" "I love you" "Hello, my name is silly bear!"
I wish they'd release DR1 on the PC.
Me too. :sigh:

This is no different.
There's a huge difference to 'killing way more people than you're supposed to' and 'getting bitten a thousand times in a game where there is a 100% chance of being bitten and yet since it did not happen in a cutscene it doesn't count.', that segregation of story and gameplay doesn't work in this scenario, the devs KNOW YOU HAVE TO GET BITTEN AT LEAST ONCE this is why, in dead rising 1, FRANK DOES NOT GET BITTEN DURING A CUTSCENE (that i can recall, correct me if I'm wrong) and yet frank is INFECTED, Isabella confirms this, pretty sure she asks if frank was bitten and he's like 'weeeellllll uuuhh' and goes on to tell him he hasn't turned because of a natural immunity which slows virus growth or whatever. if frank gets infected during gameplay, so can chuck. chuck remains seemingly uninfected, as do most of the survivors who happen to get bitten when you escourt them PLAUSABLE REASONS: rather than their body's being naturally resistant, many people may be flat out immune to the virus altogether. and it may not be hereditary, as katey and chucks wife became infected. going to assume Chuck is immune because he DOES GET BITTEN just like FRANK GETS BITTEN, neither of which happen in the cannon story cutscenes, but rather as an inevitable result of gameplay, which was been factored in, as it should be. [editline]13th October 2010[/editline] although i feel as if chuck's infection was just ignored because they couldn't think of a way to implement it into the story and it's more of a 'eh fuck it who cares nobody's going to care' kind of thing rather than 'it happened in the gameplay therefore it didn't happen'
Herp derp, Dead Rising 2 is just a game for fun. Never take it seriously.
Or having Chuck get infected wouldn't be fun. You already need to get at least 4 Zombrex for Katey, doubling that just because the player got grabbed by a zombie would piss a lot of people off. It doesn't need to be explained because having Chuck not get infected is there to make sure the game is fun.
yeah no i'm saying they just said 'fuck it that's why he's not infected'
DLC idea, Chuck the zombie. You have 1% chance to get infected when a super zombie makes you fall on the ground and heavily damages you. You play as zombie and MUUUURDEEER
yeah no i'm saying they just said 'fuck it that's why he's not infected'
They should have had him say he's imune in the cutscene with TK [sp]after he gets bitten[/sp] rather than making people guess.
also i'm not digging much of the psycho dlc i'd like the broken hockey mask better if it was the same as the other one, but broken. it's an entirely different mask, and no longer a replica of jason voorhees' mask, unlike the regular unlockable one but i'll use it nonetheless, for the skills and stuff i guess
Why is the mask black? It'd be better if it was white.
I've found the most fun way to level is attaching the chainsaw to the bike and rolling up and down the Strip until it's almost empty. Then leaving the area and coming back with everything respawned :buddy:
