Dead Rising Megathread v.2 - Everyone knows Slappy! - Games

How on earth do you kill things with some of the novelty weapons and hats? I can't figure out how to get the achievement when most of the items I'm missing are simply the weirdest items that never seem to kill anyone.

fucking kathy's space sluts wont show up when i have 5 people following me (and no missions left to do) ffs i guess i have to go and kill snowflake for them to show up? my understanding is that there can only be 8 survivors at once, and the fact that there are 6 (my gang + snowflake) stopping them from spawning (since then there would be 9)? this correct?

I could have sworn I had 9 survivors once.

aargh, those bitches still aren't showing up i only have 5 following, + 3 in kathy's space, 8. but they won't fucking spawn! are there any other secret survivors around the time of boom town that i still don't know about that are preventing the kathy's space survivors spawning?

I cant get any of the xbox live DLCs to work am I doing something wrong? I know some arent out yet, but how do I access them in single player?

The free DLCs only let you play with people who have the preorder/paid for DLC, you don't actually get anything. You can buy the preorder DLC when they go up for sale, so far the Psycho pack is out, the next 3 will go up weekly AFAIK.

I think the game is kinda repetetive, (but which game isnt nowadays? ) but still fun, i love trying to combine new stuff and beat the hell out of a zombie with my new item :) the missions are all the same well atleast the side missions but i still find it fun. any good items to combine guys?

Knife gloves are easy to get, wide range, and it can kill more than 3 zombies in a swing. It is also good when fighting Psychos as it has high damage and is fast.

If you get swarmed while using a ranged weapon you're doing it wrong.

Can someone tell me how to get the hockey mask? Some of the items just don't seem like you can kill people with them.
